About
duckieWorld started out in 2002 as a room on Habbo Hotel UK where duckie (formerly known as lucky_duckie on the Habbo UK Hotel) became bored and decided to do something to amuse herself and began collecting rubber ducks. Her goal of 1,000 ducks began to grow as the months went by, turning her collection into well over 3,000 ducks.
In 2004, duckieWorld opened its doors as a [.COM] domain and began gaining popularity on Habbo Canada, eventually becoming the first official Habbo Canada fansite. duckie used to run the site by herself, but as it grew in popularity, she needed to hire some people to help out!
In 2005, duckieWorld became a [.CA] domain and continued to grow! duckieWorld had a thriving community which featured rare values, news, a very popular radio and forum, with a huge user base.
After the [.CA] and [.COM] merge, duckieWorld sadly closed, for reasons we wish not to disclose as it was private and personal in nature, however the tides of time have turned, and duckieWorld.com is officially re-open!
duckieWorld is currently hiring for all positions including; Events and Competitions, News, Radio Personalities, and Graphics. While many changes, updates, and new content are being added to the home site, duckieWorld has high hopes of re-building their former fanbase, and creating their own actively involved community to entertain and captivate.
