Spent the weekend learning from the incomparable Page Nethercutt, which was also the first time I've ever received any live, in-person taxidermy education (it's tough work trying to figure it out on your own). I think I learned more about duck mounts, and taxidermy in general, in these past two days than I'd scraped together alone in a decade. I was more than happy to take home a DVD lesson for the home library, even happier to have it signed by the master himself. A huge thanks to AusAWA, the association I'm quite proud to now be a member of, and of course, to Mr Nethercutt himself.
