[After the events of the Moon Invasion, Penumbra took charge of her people. They wanted to help fix the mess Lunarius lead them into making before they head back to the moon. Many of the moon people were staying with their families inside their still-intact-because-of-gold Spear of Selenes. But, Penumbra was invited to stay in the McDuck manor because she didn't have a family or a ship since the whole .... you know ... explosion. Donald and Della were catching up in the garden while the kids were running around playing tag.]

Donald: So, Della ... is Penny your partner?

Della: Yeah, you can say. I mean, sure, she might not have liked me too much because I ended her life's purpose. But, hey! Look at us now! Closer to ever. I still can't believe she risked her life for me and our family! Our planet!

Donald: I'm not surprised. You have a tendency to have people either hate or love you. But, I'm glad you have someone who cares about you like that.

(Della tilted her head, wondering what her brother meant by that.)

Della: Yeah...

Donald: So, when are you going to tell the boys?

Della: Ummmmm... I think they already know. I mean, I was on Dewey Dew-night? Is that how you say it? His cute little show.

Donald: Woah! He must have been serious if he showed you his show set up. How did they take it? I have always tried to keep them open-minded about these matters, but other than me, they don't have much experience.

Della: Uhhhhh... they were fine? Actually, they made me realize the Penny might not have liked me too much. But, luckily, she did like me because she tried to warn me about the invasion.

Donald: Glad things worked out them. Della, now that your back and Penumbra is here to support you, I think it is time for me to leave.

Della: WHAT?! Why, Donny?! I just got back! I don't wanna lose you so fast!

Donald: Slow your horses, Della! Not leave permanently! I mean, actually, take that vacation everyone thought I was on. But, no cruise. Just need a trip to Europe and a ride back.

Della: Oh thank duckness! I don't think I can handle being a mom without you.

Donald: Ohhh Della! You're doing a great job! And Penumbra is here too! She can help you if you need it. I'll be gone for a week at most. And if things work out, I'll be visiting Europe at least once a month in the future.

Della: Any reason why you're going to Europe?

Donald: Remember the band I used to in? The Three Caballeros? Well, I reconnected with my old bandmates a few months back. We wanted to meet up again sometime and now seems like a better time than never.

Della: I remember Jose and Panchito! You were really close to them, Donny. Hmmmmm.... anything going on with you three?

(Donald blush shows up on his white-feathered cheeks.)

Donald: Maybe. If things go well, we might start dating ... again.

Della: Again!

Donald: Nope! I will tell you later. Why don't you tell me about your relationship with Penumbra now!

Della: Alright. Ummm... I pretty much told you about how she and I are best friends.

Donald: Yeah. But, what about things like the first kiss and telling others?

Della: Whit, what?! Penny and I aren't dating!

Donald: Really?

(Penumbra walks out to the patio area, her helmet under one of her arms while running her other hand through her short wavy hair.)

Penumbra: Hey, Donald. Della. We finished fixing City Hall today.

Della: OMG! Penny, you wouldn't believe what Donald thought. He thought you and me... WERE IN A RELATIONSHIP! HAHAHAHAHA!

Penumbra: Wow. That's a coincidence.

Della: Why is that a coincidence?

Penumbra: Because I was planning on doing this for a while now.

(Penumbra pulls Della in for a kiss. The kids stopped to watch and cheer for them.)

Della: Woah! You mean?

Penumbra: Yeah. Realized I wanted to be more than friends with you a few days ago. Didn't know how to tell you. But, maybe that kiss told you more then you think.

Della: Oh Penny! I wanted to do that the first time I saw your gorgeous face on the moon! I thought you were playing hard to catch and when you didn't return any of my flirting, I assumed you weren't interested and decided on settling on having you as a best friend instead. I'm so happy you feel this way for me!

Penumbra: Me too, Della.

Donald: I never thought I would be the catalyst setting off your love, but boy am I happy for my sister and her new girlfriend. Let's just hope my own adventure in Europe ends on a similar note.
