Oops, I found this in my drafts from half a year ago. Better late than never.
Dudley Beach, New Castle.
After galavanting around in Sydney and Melbourne for a week, Celine and I returned to her hometown of New Castle. New Castle is a smaller city, much more suburban, with nothing but beaches and shopping complexes. We spent most of this week shopping, watching Netflix until 3 am, and making a trip out to Dudley Beach.
A 15 minute walk from her house, you have to hike through “the bush” (as Celine puts it.) When we got there, we practically had a private beach to ourselves. Rock pools and plants grew everywhere, and the water was the bluest and greenest I’ve ever seen it.
We flopped around, ate pringles, and listened to Justin Bieber- the perfect summer’s day.
This is the place I'd call -h o m e- 2 minutes from this beach is where I rest my head at night. I love this place.
