if my workout made me so tired I wanted to throw up I’d find a new workout. No I was tired from a lack of sufficient sleep before work.

I consider myself super lucky cause I have basically all the colors I need to be making this. I didn't think I would have the right colors for its arms.

Start with a magic ring.
Chain 3 -does not count as first double crochet. also if your gauge is tighter you can use a chain 2 -
make 12 double crochets into ring.
slip stitch into last chain of chain 3 -do this at the end of every round-
Chain 3.
Increase into each stitch around. 24 stitches
slip stitch into last chain of chain 3.
make one double crochet in first stitch, then an increase in the next stitch continue around to end -should end with an increase before the chain space-
slip stitch into last chain of chain 3
and basically you continue around in that pattern adding a double crochet before the increases until you get it about the size you want. I use this to help me make sure I get it as close as possible
Then you just double crochet around until its the desired length. Depending on head size, hook, gauge, yarn any where between 12 to 22 rounds is normal.
For the ear flaps, I counted eleven from the chained seam and placed a stitch marker -I use bobby pins- and then I counted 24 from them and put two more markers.
I attach the yarn into a marked stitch chain 3 and double crochet a crossed.
turn chain 3 double crochet decease and double crochet a crossed until the last two stitches and decrease them.
turn chain 3, double crochet a crossed.
turn chain 3, decrease, crochet until the last two, and decrease.
turn, chain 3, crochet a crossed.
turn chain 3, decrease, crochet until last two and decrease.
-I only did five rows on this hat-
fasten off and sew in the ends.
This is my first time attempting to write out a pattern I am so so so sorry if I am hard to follow.
