I never thought I would make it this far but God had another plan... Every one of you and many that are missing played a part in this day coming to fruition as well and I thank you for it. It's amazing how fast time flys and equally impressive how it can be paused in an image... There are four births every second so at times I wonder where my birth mates are and what kind of life they are living... not because of comparison, but because I know we were not meant to be alone. Maybe that's one of the reasons we are born in community not solitude. So instead of Happy Birthday to me let's say Happy Birthday to WE! In essence every second we have a new opportunity to live and love life to the fullest, so let's celebrate. Thank you Mom & Dad for your resilience, your passion, your vision, your hearts. I live to honor you both and so many benefit from the blessings that you guys poured into my life... We indefinitely will become the cumulus of who we associate ourselves with. I always say if you see someone on either side of me they are better than me at something. Well, this time they are both on one side of me and I don't say this in a opportunistic manor but more so in an aspirational way. Both of these men have accomplished so much in their lives and changed so many lives I could never list their complete greatness. One of the most inspirational parts is their greatest accomplishments have been in their most mature stage of life, which is further proof that their are always better days ahead. Today I join my mentors @erwinmcmanus & @ralphneighbour in accomplishing one of my greatest acts in my most mature age, graduating @Mosaic college. Someone told me "You are speaking today so your are the valedictorian" I was speechless at that thought (Note: Bad time to be at a loss of words) . For someone who cheated in High school and even then still getting their diploma AFTER summer school this has been quite the paradigmatic shift in my life... Thank you to all my professors @kimisalive @lawrence_fudge @joesmith.la @jonrouleau @davidarcos @andresfigueroa.la @pamneighbour and all my fellow classmates. Most importantly thank you to my beautiful wife @iluvette for believing in me... We did it babe! Never stop growing, never stop serving, never stop dreaming... I once thought I died just a few blocks away in Downtown LA, but today is proof I'm living most fully alive!
