Approximately 4 years ago my best friend and I suffered our greatest trauma in our lives and ironically our greatest bonding moment to date in what now is a 6 year relationship, 3 of which we are happily married. Tanya's father Mussa Rashid Mwamwetta passed away at age 59 and a few months later my father #ArmandoArguelles passed away at 83 years of age. We are both the benefactors of amazing parents but regardless of what a gift that was growing up no amount of time with them could ever have prepared us for any moment in time without them. One thing that did was that we both believe our Heavenly father made sure we have a solid relationship with Him and placed a spiritual father in our lives before He had our biological fathers come home. Father’s day for better or worse is a day to celebrate creators of life, care givers, fearless protectors, deligent guides, relentless warriors… My Father was so selfless I found my comparison to him an obstacle because of how selfish I was... then I looked at people whose fathers had less character as a blessing for them because the bar was set so low for them to be more accomplished than their father... Since you’re reading this you have a father and whether in presence or absence he has taught you lessons to refine you but not define you...Your definition comes from a work in progress in relationship with your Heavenly Father… You have the ability to be the change you would like to see in your Father’s life if you have the privilege of him still being alive or in his lineage if he is no longer here… This day Tanya and I looked at the photo op @Mosaic stating “ I love you, Dad! “ and instead of feeling displaced because of our lack of a father being present we stepped forward boldly empowered, celebrating the time we got to experienced with our fathers here on Earth. The fact that now we have two fathers looking over us in Heaven, and one here on Earth fathering our community. We thank you @ErwinMcmanus for the amount of healing, beauty, and wholeness you have brought to humanity and the archetype father figure you are for all to witness… Happy Father Day! - #ONEFELIX 2018 #FOREVER #MosaicLA
