Okay, I know this is probably just a recurring joke, but do you have any idea or any plan as to why Huey chose "Dumbella" for Della instead of saving the girl all the suffering and calling her "Della"? I'm curious to know where that name came from because I'm surprised that Huey, with all his attention and responsibility, didn't realize the "little detail" of the name he chose, maybe at that moment he was too stressed to realize it or I don't know XDXD

Huey didn’t really have much spare time from the moment Dewey left with the Spear of Selene until the moment the twins were born. He had two, three weeks at best, and in the middle of moving away from the manor, taking care of the eggs, and suffering, he wasn’t really able to decide new names for the twins. He just knew he was not using “Storm” and “Firework” as Dewey had chosen. 

So when he finally had his kids in his arms, he just called them the first names that came into his exausted mind. Donald was lucky at this moment. Della... not that much lol

Estou ligeiramente de cara. Não imaginava que na série nova de Duck Tales, iria aparecer a... Dumbella!!! Todos os fãs hardcore sabem que ela é a irmã do Pato Donald e mãe dos trigêmeos mais famosos de Patópolis. Agora, aparecer na frente das câmeras, só à um ano de dois mil e fucking vinte!!! E na série, ela é bais ou bêdos assim:

Até esta aparição, ela era apenas um nome, escrito em um papel, nos anos 40. Um detalhe que MATOU A PAU foi esse lance de ela ter o pescoço de uma cor diferente (ou isso, ou fui enganado pelas imagens pequenas). Aí releva até mesmo o lance de ela usar um acessório extremamente manjado, aquele óculos de aviador, igual ao do Capitão Boeing (fora 39489234 furries). Só faltava alguém chamar ela de Dumbella Fountleroy Duck, mas aí acho que já seria pedir demais, rsrs.

Os caras pegaram uma, como se diz no ramo dos games, IP  abandonada deles e marcaram um golaço. E também, vamos combinar, para uma determinada galera dos dias de hoje seria inadmissível que ela não existisse. E o curioso é isso, ela no fim das contas, acaba sendo tão canônica para a sua série de origem quanto a Lola Bunny (criação do próprio Chuck Jones, ainda vivo). “Como você descobriu isso, CeBarros?” Da maneira mais CeBarros possível, vendo thumbnails de um canal do YouTube sobre a série descoberto por acaso....

UPDATE - Dumbella (Della Duck) é ainda mais inclusiva do que parece: ela tem uma... perna mecânica. Estilo paraolímpico, mesmo. Outra coisa: em um episódio ela relembra a canção de ninar que ela cantava para Huguinho, Zezinho e Luisinho. E a música é apenas o “tema da lua”, do jogo Duck Tales de NES, uma trilha composta no Japão para o game e que é a favorita de muitas pessoas. Na série, é apenas um trecho, que ganhou letra. Não sei se já foi adaptado para português.  Enfim a Disney me faz chorar. Ê 2020 da pêga.
