I just wanted to say that I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I loved seeing pictures of Jessy and I could tell just by looking that she was a happy and well loved horse. She was lucky to have someone as attentive as you in her life.

anti-recommendation: Good Morning Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, I can accept an End Of The World book where the End Of The World is never itself specified, for example The Road, but I absolutely cannot fucking accept "this major character was a ghost/hallucination the whole time" at the very VERY end of an otherwise mundane narrative, 1/10, do not read, not worth the effort

i read a portal fantasy that i otherwise liked that it was all a dream'd it on the last page and that feeling that you've wasted the whole time is the worst
