they get all flirty at the first one (LET’S SAY GLOBES), but they don’t hook up til the SAGs, then they probably have some fun without really talking about what this is bt then and the BAFTAs, where maybe it get’s weird bc of someone making a comment that hits weird bc they never talked, or the fact that it felt like a date but then harry is whisked off by one of the 1000 ppl he knows, or maybe it just FELT LIKE A DATE, FULL STOP, and that was WEIRD,  SOMETHING IDK theres some sort of conflict there. and then its WEEKS until the oscars that they just stew in that weird note they left on....

What about baftas fic! What about all the awards nights showing a snapshot of their progressing relationship

yes baftas, theyre probably be the most comfortable there TBH, but even more YES YES YES TO THE PROGRESSION THROUGH ALL THE AWARD SHOWS OMG!!!!!! start with the globes (or something smaller scale that’s in December? critics choice????) where theres maybe a lot of tipsy handsy flirting and excitement of being back together with everyone, all the way through to oscars where they finally get everything right T B H

one niche dunkrk ship thing that me and @little-cather talked about while i visited:

jack and harry meet at aneurins wedding and HOOK UP. it's 1000% just a fun wedding no strings thing. jack fucks harry while he’s in a kilt, bc traditional formal dress. it's v hot. maybe he's the best man, and harry was just a friend from some random class or job. they part ways and never really think of each other again and it's all good. 

UNTIL!!!! jack is out for lunch or something w his friend tom, just talking nonsense, catching up, what's been going on at work, jack had to take his bike in to the shop, weird texts they've gotten from barry, ETC ETC, when in walks one time fuck harry styles, and jack is probably like, oh christ, pretend we're really busy, guy i hooked up with is over there, i can't spend another hour listening to a bad joke. BUT HARRY is for some reason coming over to their table with a huge smile on his face and staring at tom???? and then when he finally notices jack he does a double take and looks really fucking weird about it??????? 

BASICALLY harry and tom have recently met and been pining for each other in this really gross happy flirting way, but now that's kind of been stopped in its tracks by harry and jack spilling right away that they know each other and how and it's a bit weird and awkward with everyone trying to insist is not weird and awkward at all. 

From there it’s a little more up in the air but probably then jack has to listen to a bunch of moping and sighing for WEEKS, tom maybe nobly offers to back off from harry if it'll upset jack if there was something there (which jack can have a good laugh about) and then whines for ages that he has no shot anyways if harrys type is jack, meanwhile harry tracks jack down and complains that toms been distant and he thinks he fucked up before he even had a chance, ITS JACKS NIGHTMARE and he finally has to figure out a way to set them up it's awful.
