hi hi, my dash has become very harry heavy recently and i need some niall blogs to follow before flicker comes out so my dash has got the right mood on friday, do you have any blogs you can recommend?

lmao, no prizes for guessing but it’s the one with all the football by @megalong and @miss-bennie emotional knapsack was a literal second place with 28.

it must work on a delay though because i can’t see anything i’ve opened today to check other frequent re-reads. i’d love a feature where you could sort by most viewed. i’m so interested in stats. but it’s just highlighting how bad i am at commenting when i re-read though *slaps wrist*

Oh my goodness oh my...

I’m posting this (I hope you don’t mind) because it’s really nice and also a nice opportunity for me to be like “HEY HELLO”. Life is good. Life is busy. Life has been busy for some time and occasionally--while I’m performing some grueling bit of manual labor like demolishing a wall or sanding a piece of wood twelve million times--I think back to 2015 and it all feels like a beautiful free-time-filled dream. 

I watched that trailer yesterday and I had a million feelings. I’m still not convinced the movie won’t be Very Not Good but also [zayn voice] I don’t caaaaaare. I love the Dark Tower so much and now I’ve accidentally crammed a bunch of 1D feelings in there with it which is cool and fun. Honestly, hearing Idris Elba say the gunslinger’s creed blew my mind a little bit. Reader, I cried. Literal tears. Just a few. I’m fine.

In other news, I listened to Slow Hands this morning and while I am still angry at Niall for becoming a full-on brunette AFTER I divested from active fandom, I am really glad he’s so far along in the process of morphing into Don Henley and making chill groovy music for middle-aged wine moms. He’s doing great. I’m happy for him.  

Thank you for checking in on me thank you for always being sweet and kind. And hi tumblr, I miss you all and I think of you fondly all the time.

Peter and George is heartbreaking as a pairing too because in his last moments George doesn't even get to see peter's face

Oh my gosssssshhhh. The pain. He’s not only terrified and in darkness but he’s alone :( Doesn’t know what’s going on :(((( He’s a sweetie that doesn’t deserve it.

Well! I’m so glad you all think so!! I think I’m most intrigued by their backstory?? And I find it really interesting that there’s an end point. Makes everything more sad :((((

after hearing niall talk about his influences and including damien rice in there, i'm hoping seeing blind has female vocals on it too, in a damien rice blower's daughter kind of way.

ooh, i’m listening to ‘the blower’s daughter’ right now, and i can totally hear what you mean! the extra vocals are there almost in a supporting role, sort of like a whole choir might ordinarily in another genre but super minimal and stripped-down to suit that acoustic sound he’s got. niall’s obviously so good at harmonizing with other people and i’d lOVE for him to get a chance to have some female vocals to work off of, because he definitely has the versatility to sing in a slightly lower register when he needs to! i’m SO interested to hear the string bits in ‘flicker,’ too, and i’m betting some piano and other instruments throughout the album. it’s gonna be SO good
