Those two are another duo that are kind of underrated, as the older members of the group I feel like they’d gravitate towards each other though and they’re both interesting characters in their own right so you could definitely add to that.

It’s not really my cup of tea, I feel like twice is too genuine for Dabis self centred cynicism…..essentially I like Jin too much, Though I can definitely see the appeal and when it comes to fannon interpretations it’s insanely fun.

the thing abt them with the “swinging the bat at a wasp nest” is . God. Yeah, originally I did plan for them to be the ship of the AU but I decided against it purely bc I was afraid to ship and oc with a canon character bc of the old general fandom attitudes I grew up with and also Suspect had a good idea for how Akira could fit into the AU

But God ,,,,it is really complicated. It’s not like shuake where, narratively speaking, all Akechi did to Akira was shoot his fake self. In this AU, Akechi has done SO MUCH more to Hitoshi without any pretense of cognition so the healing process would take eons longer to form into something romantic, even though Hitoshi has been crushing on Akechi since the day they met (obv, those feelings sort of take a backseat after the incident).
