Leo and Orion! I will not elaborate.
" you're always so painfully curious when it comes to my work ... " they can also tell when nyarlathotep is watching. he is much like a black cat --- sitting in the shadows with its wandering eyes. the lostbelt master would also, if slightly, wish the outer being wouldn't use their chair as an arm rest. " it casts difficulty on my focus . " with a sigh, 24 would lean back in their seat ; raising a hand to push a piece of hair from the god's face. " what do you need of me ? "
Painful, difficult; all are accurate enough evaluations of him. Not that Nyarlathotep cares if he’s a burden. He’ll stay where he is, continue scanning idly over 24′s head. “It’s the kind of thing that’s useful for me to know.” It wouldn’t be necessary if 24 weren’t so cagey or if their affairs didn’t so often affect Nyarlathotep, but unfortunately for both of them, that’s not the case. So if he wants to see what 24 is up to, this is the best way. Someone has to be on top of things for the ambivalent side.
He allows them to brush his hair back, though he does raise a skeptical eyebrow at the action. What’s this, some sign of affection? Faked or otherwise, that’s rather bold for a mere human to be displaying. (His teeth are sharp, if he so chose he could catch their finger betwixt fangs, bite it in half like celery and swallow the evidence. They’ll be lucky for now that no blood of theirs is spilled for the audacity.) “You know, if you really wanted research, I could take you to an even better place.” The Library of Yith isn’t hard to reach, after all. But that’s not the answer to what they asked-- it would be more fun for Nyarlathotep, though, than sitting here and watching 24 do whatever pointlessness they’ve gotten interested in now. “Failing that? I met some new people. I want to know what you know about them. I want what you even plan on doing here. I want quite a lot of things. Hurry it up and plunge the world into chaos already, will you? Else I’ll get bored with just Nidhogg to play with.”
the magus would extend their fingertips —- crystals forming upon their palm before shaping itself in the form of flowers and fauna, holding it out for the beast to take.
It sure looked lovely, but Tiamat knew not to trust human magecraft, so….
She surged forward, taking the crystals in her mouth and biting down. She swallowed the shards before sauntering away.

They got his note and they don’t even have the spunk to chide him! What a let down, where’s the get-up-and-go from this mage? Whatever. Nyarlathotep didn’t exactly put much effort into that instance of being a nuisance, so he’ll allow it to slip by without comment when he does waltz his way into the room 24′s occupying and complain at them.
“I’m bored. I heard something interesting from Lenore (or whatever alias she uses with you) earlier, and I think it’s about time I make the towns’ life a little harder.” There’s chaos going on down there that he didn’t breed, apparently, and Nyarlathotep doesn’t like that. Well, no. He does like that. He also wants to get in on it, though.
And here Nyarlathotep drapes himself over the back of 24′s chair, paying no heed to the mage’s personal space. (If anything, they should be thankful he’s graced them with his holy presence and deigned to spare their sanity.)
Gaze drifts to the screen before them, a row of faces that Nyarlathotep doesn’t particularly care about. He might choose to care about them, though, if they’re people that don’t exactly need to be alive. “--Hey, is that something?” He’ll go run torture-errands, if that’s the case. He can’t just spend all day raising fungi and invading Nidhogg’s personal space, after all. Some time has to be made for torturing humans who hoped for better lives.
