I want this to be a DTIYS (Draw This In Your Style) challenge.

Me finished getting ready to sing on the Fifth day of the festival for a programme.
(don't wear sarees, they're very itchy and if you want to, then ok ⊂((・▽・))⊃ and covered my eyes 'cause I can't reveal my face OwO)
Yeyyyyyy today's the day where I can wake up at 4:00 A.M to listen to the holy songs of my country's ancient ten handed Goddess.
(I saw her ritual in UK too when I was 4)
Might sound weird to you as I'm from a different country. Luckily, our festival is one of UNESCO's world heritage. (Even 1 month ago our state's chief minister formed a huge crowd to thank UNESCO for making it one of the world heritages). And I totally missed that as I'm suffering from cough, cold, blocked nose and throat pain. Ignore my sickness. And I watched a show which was in a different language, I mean my state's language, from 5:00 to 7:00.
@nonoctalie in your country there is a club where that very huge festival is going on. Also my mom saw your reply and said in bengali "my dear, your friend is so sweet, tell her I said thank you".
For everyone, the festival is happening all around the world. People of any type are always welcome. My state is the main source of that festival. Still, for my dear followers and for the people around every corner of the world, you can wear pretty new clothes and go there :D. May the Goddess bless you all.
translation: Happy Mahalaya
(For people who don't know, Mahalaya is a day which marks the beginning of the upcoming festival, Durga Puja, the festival which is celebrated to worship the ten handed Goddess who was created by hundreds of Gods and saved the innocent and the Kingdom of heaven from a buffalo demon named Mahisasur. The people beside the Goddess except the one who is stabbed are her children. She is shown sitting on a lion as it is gifted by Lord Himalaya, the God who is the lord of the Himalaya mountains and with other weapons on each hand with the main weapon the trident. The children are Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth with her pet or vehicle a snowy owl, Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of education, culture and music with her pet or vehicle a swan, Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed God of wisdom and understanding with his pet or vehicle a rat and Lord Kartik, the God of war with his pet or vehicle a peacock. Luckily, in Goddess Saraswati's Puja, i don't need to study and I'm free all day but have to wear a yellow and red saree all day :') and this is the longest blog i have ever written so don't mind me 😊) It is celebrated from the seventh day till the tenth day as the fifth day is the day when the idol arrives at the pandal or the place where the puja is going to happen.

Today is Mahalaya, the day where people wake up at 4:00 A.M to listen to the songs praising the Ten-Handes Goddess, Durga, also known as Mahishasur Mardini (The slayer of the demon Mahishasur)
This day gives Durga Puja vibes while listening to the songs from the radio. The Mahalaya songs are played through loudspeakers on the streets, there is no school, office or work on this day. This day marks the beginning of Durga Puja (even though it's not the first day). So, my mom and I woke up and were sitting on the sofa, turned on the Air Conditioner and listened to the songs from the TV radio. Here is one of the songs:
"Jago Durga Dashapraharanadharini" means Awake Durga, Ten-Handed Goddess
I hope all of you will like Durga Puja as it's not only celebrated in India but all over the world! It's also a UNESCO world culture heritage.
