As she finished scratching herself, she’d begun to groom herself, both her fur and feathers alike. At the sound of the growl, the massive gryphon stopped and looked up, her ears perked in the direction where the sound had come from. Her dark pink tongue sticking out for a moment, before she got up on all fours and retracted her tongue inside her beak.

Tail swinging back and forth slowly, the massive beast sniffed the air and let out a low rumble and a curious, though cautious chatter. Creeping in the direction of where the sound had come from, Skylar’s fur on her back was standing on end while her feathers were fluffed up, pupils dilated as it was hyper alert. Sniffing cautiously at the bush, the gryphon stuck her beak into the vegetation and let out a small surprised scratching rumble, as her beak pushed against something solid. Which made her retreat her head a bit, tilting it as if the beast waited for something to happen.

Folding her hands behind her back to support Luna’s sling, she waited for Durotan to lead the pair after the running Frostwolf, her shorter, chunkier legs moving quickly to keep up with the chieftain. 

“I hope I didn’t make a mistake by forgetting to bring an offering of meat with me...” she said, looking up at him. “The wolves won’t be too disappointed, will they? I think I have some dried fish in my pack...”
