Headcanon ab McGonagall?

My headcanon and something I wish that happened is that McGonagall didn’t really trust Dumbledore at all with putting Harry with the Dursley’s and she moved into their neighborhood and constantly came over and made herself a great neighbor who just happened to adore Harry and found a way to get him raised normally so that he wasn’t fucked up emotionally, like we all know he was. She basically became Aunt McGonagall and he never realized how great that was until he got to Hogwarts.

also did the dursley's get letters whenever Harry had extended stays in the hospital wings? I'm fairly positive the weasleys were informed whenever one of their children were injured but I mean imagine it "FYI your nephew is now missing all the bones in his arm they'll grow back tonight ttfn" "so one of our teachers was possessed by Voldy and tried to kill Harry. He's a ok" "lmao a supposed mass murderer is on campus your nephew and he are friends" "Harry fell several hundred feet because Black Death Ghosts love him" I wonder how the dursley's reacted to this

Dumbledore: ‘’What will you give me in return?’’

LIKE.. What?! Okay, I’m aware that there a lot of arguments for and against Dumbledore, and correct me if I’m wrong, but really?! 

So Dumbledore had to be RE-PAYED for protecting the lives of two amazing young people who were more than likely two of his favorite students during their years at Hogwarts? Dumbledore needed Snape to GIVE HIM SOMETHING in order for him to try and save James and Lily, his head boy and girl, members of the Order, as well as young, brave, honestly GOOD people who had just had their first child? 

                               As if that wasn’t enough, Dumbledore knew about the prophecy. He knew that Harry was the one to kill Voldemort, he knew Harry needed protection. And yet he said Snape had to give him something for him to protect the ‘’only hope of the wizarding world?’’ 

Oh but that’s okay, because when James and Lily DIE, he can just stick Harry in an abusive home instead.

I absolutely love Harry's sarcasm with the Dursley's and how in the first couple of books he's wary of how he acts around them and then in the last few he's always has his fun with them until they actually piss him off and he just shuts them down and he's just so done with them
