Hello! Here with Dusekkar/Overseer thoughts!
It's kinda based on a silly little daydream of mine; Broker doesn't worship/believe in the deities, thus does not belief in Ghostwalker nor his creations—how could Overseer attain information of them? The cult definitely values knowledge, given that Broker is such a high ranking member, so would they afford to lose out on a crucial part of history? I wouldnt be surprised if Overseer has other connections to help him with the dirty work. However, it won't be as gracious as if he were to go to the direct source (i.e., watchers' libraries). How can he guarantee that—if someone else found them and got something—his henchmen wouldn't make stupid decisions that'd minimize gain?
Overseer is going on a path to infinite knowledge to the eldest watcher's library, all whilst Dusekkar not only knows of it but also is toying with him. She wouldn't mess around much (watchers are neutral after all)... It'd just be fun seeing a demon try with all their effort at causing ruckus with others for their scheme. Being isolated means you dont see examples with your own two (six?) eyes often.
It's definitely an idolization/parasocial (?) type attraction with Overseer. And I dont think Dusekkar's compassion goes deeper than platonic affection. But the thought, the drive, the anticipation—I'd love to see that
