“well you look nice.” the woman commented as she approached her greatest friend, a light smile on her lips. her gaze moved about the other for a moment, quick to let her eyes wander the crowds of people and how they talked amungst themselves. to say this place looked beautiful would be an understatement. it almost took the warriors breath away.
to say diana was slightly nervous about coming to ball, let alone accompanying someone to it, was an understatement. the last time she had been to one of these sorts of things, it didn’t exactly end well, nor did it have many nice memories to think back on. it wasn’t bruce that made her nervous. it was more of the unsettling feeling the warrior had in her stomach. turning her chin to face the man next to her, diana parted her lips to speak. “i have to say, i’m a little surprised that i didn’t walk in here to see everyone doing that thriller dance you were talking about.”
