I never read the Warrior Cats books. I do think the lore is pretty neat, and I really like how Flinter changed up the Dreamtale lore to fit into WC lore. I must know more about Dustrunner. My haunted cat whom I adore. Go, go and destroy the local ecosystem with your fellows.

        ❝ knew i should’ve taken philosophy a level. ❞ she should be an expert at deep conversations, by now; georgie’s been through more than enough of them herself, and she’s always been a listening ear for her unit. it’s her job, and she can’t fix a lot of the shit that happens when you’re deployed, but if feeling like someone’s looking out for them helps them, then she’s glad for it. she’d be a shitty medic if she didn’t want to help, wouldn’t she?

        georgie’s problem is that she wants to help too much. it’s that she gives so much of herself to other people that she forgets to keep any back for herself, and then she wonders why she falls apart.

        maybe that’s something she should be used to, by now---but why would she want to be, eh? why would she want to accept everything’s shit and it’s gonna destroy you as the status quo? there has to be a better out there, somewhere. she has to believe in that, or she’s got nothing to keep living for.
