“I’m more of a chocolate kinda guy when it comes to hot things, if that’s ok?” Despite trying many different teas, every single one of them tasted like leaf to him. And now, with Michael behind his tastebuds as well, it was a million times worse. Chocolate, however, wouldn’t do that to him.

how quickly the favor of your kin will turn to hate. while he had respect for his siblings, he did not trust them. and they despised him just as much as they despised each other. out of all of them, astaroth was the most honor bound to their king, dutiful and obedient. powerful. something that many of hell’s creatures craved more than anything. it was only a matter of time before they turned on him, though he didn’t expect them to be foolish enough to try and kill the priestess. they needed her alive. 

war battered hand held her own, feeling his vessel’s heart stop for a moment. a sense of familiarity washed over him, his eyes closed in the moment. approaching hoofbeats brought him back, pulling her up onto the back of his horse and securing her arms around him before taking off into the night.

“Well, you’re always such a sight, how can I not be in a good mood?.” He hums, pressing himself closer to her if possible, his chin resting on her shoulder, almost perfectly fitting on the crook of her neck.

Lilith had never been one to exactly fear Death. Oh she never intended to die of course, but that didn’t mean she had to fear the one who brought it to so many, many mortals over the entirety of time itself. Respect Death, yes, be wary of him, of course....but fear? No. And so, when offered the seat, she took it, slipping in with her....usual elegance though her blue eyes remained pinned on Death as she did so, suspicion and curiosity dancing in her expression.  

“So, are you going to tell me why exactly I found my ears were burning?” She asked, “So-to-speak”
