Do you think even the worst person can change?
The integrous soul hesitates to answer, despite already knowing her answer. If you had asked her earlier in life, it was likely you would get a much different answer, and she knew it: she thought herself naive at this point in time.
“No.” Bonny answered honestly, “I’ve met them, and they didn’t–I waited thousands of lifetimes for them to change, for them to stop hurting everyone, but they didn’t stop… so I made the change I wanted to see.” Maybe destroying Frisk’s very essence wasn’t the best thing, but they were practically soulless to begin with–it made it easier than just killing Frisk and prevented the bad things from happening again. Perhaps, it wasn’t the right thing to do, but doing nothing after she had exhausted all of her other options didn’t seem right either.
“Are these even theoreticals? Or are you asking for someone else…?”
