Revised & updated the prehistoric Coniopterygidae (dustywing) wings for my avatar to be even more scientifically accurate than before. I realized that my first reference scientific illustration for this project was an illustration solely of hind wings, and quickly had to rectify this error. I'm even happier with the new result. For this special artwork I am stepping out of the bounds of my usual subject matter—cosmology/astrophysics—and into a whole new world called paleoentomology, which is a branch of entomology that deals with fossilized insects. I'll save the rest for later and finish by saying that my interest in the concept of 'time immemorial' led me here.
