I am currently listening to a playlist of Dutch parodies/ funny folk songs and I feel the urge to share some. Would any of you actually enjoy such an exchange of musical 'memes'? And I am really bring the A game if you'd like. Thanks to my mom, I know true classics like 'Ik Mis Me Slippie' (I miss me panties) thats about a drunk woman who lost her panties at the pub as you can imagine or Tina & Tess and Toos' parody 'Waardeloos' (worthless), which reimagines a Dutch love song as a song sung from the perspective of a frustrated mistress who has enough of her lover and just wants his wife to deal with him again.
