Seriously, Lana/SQ fans, move on.
Every time Jen attends a con it's the same crap.
Stop asking her about Lana.
Accept they don't get along.
Accept they have different personalities and while Lana is able to say whatever the audience wants to hear easily, Jen isn't. And that's ok.
Accept you'll never know what happened between them.
Understand that she is not obligated to give you an answer that pleases you and will fit your narrative of what happened between them.
Just because you're paying for a con ticket, it doesn't give you the right to say whatever you please. There are boundaries, there's common sense. She is a human being with the kindest heart and it's not right to purposefully make her uncomfortable.
The show is over. They both have new projects going on. They moved on and so should you.
I had so much fun at the dutch comicon!
I had a simple cosplay, guess who?
The book was filled with gravity falls memes.
I met a lot of awesome cosplayers and got an extra long free hug from victor.
Also ran into my sister who didn’t know I was also at the con, used the moment to harass her and pinch her in the bottom. (she screamed XD)
It was fun.
When the dream comes true
You can't see her, not yet, but you know that she's there. Behind the curtains, at the end of the long line of people waiting to live their dream. Some of them come out, and the emotions springing out from their faces voice an endless speech of mute words. You can't see her, and you can't believe she's there. Not yet. Not after uncountable efforts and so many tears. But you know she is. And at some point, when you're still too far and yet too close to your moment, you can finally look at her. She's beautiful, more that you could even imagine. She's smiling in a way that could enlighten the world. She's real. Her face, her body, her hands you're used to see on a screen, are real. And before you can process this, you are next to her, getting lost in her bright eyes. You try to talk, but you've just forgotten how to do it. You surround her with your arm and smile at the camera, discovering that it's incredibly easy. She thanks you and tells you to have fun. You'd like to answer, but all the words in the vocabulary wouldn't be enough to express how you feel. And hoping that your eyes will speak for you, you say goodbye. It's a moment she won't even remember, but you will, for your whole life. And it's ok. Great loves aren't always meant to be returned; some of them just need to be given.
Dedicated to all the people who met Jen for the first time and those who are still trying. Never give up on your dreams, because one day they'll come true.
