So this could be unpopular, but i hate how Bones (the show) treated Seeley Booth with regard to his mother in s8 e22 (though don't get me started on Jared missing in this ep)

I don't in anyway want to insult or offend anyone who survived a DV, but man, the episode felt off. Yes, his mother went through hell, but Seeley and Jared went through hell too. Not only were they abused by their father, they were abandoned by their mother to face the abuse by themselves. She straight up left them with their alcoholic, abusive father as children. Sure, the Grandfather took them in eventually, but she left them with the father. Just left without looking back.

I hate that i hate this episode as the mother went through hell and she deserves some empathy and forgiveness, but man, the entire episode was like "Forgive her, Booth. Forgive her, Booth."

I think my issue with the episode is that they wanted Booth to forgive the mother, but they never talked about what happened. They had the mother clear the air, airing her truth, but Booth never got to air his truth. The show wanted to skip that part..make it fast and easy.

Mordred literally feeling Luna in danger, turning to see her being grabbed by her hair so her throat can be slit, and being so mad at himself because he knew he should've braided her hair; if he had braided her hair, she wouldnt be in danger now. He always braids her hair but today was the one day he didnt.

(a year later, he braids roses into her hair. He knows the moment she takes her last breath because he dies in that moment too. He finds her on the battlefield surrounded by a halo of petals and weeps.)

Oh my god i wanna learn more about Mordred and Luna!!! What's their story about? (like real quick i know how much writers hate writing)

oh god do I love these two!! So it's kinda an Arthurian rewrite except there's a (semi dead) dragon that's a sun god involved and Mordred isnt raised by Morgause but by/alongside Luna (she's like 5 when he's born and through a series of unfortunate eventsTM she gets sacked with him and is like "i am baby why do you trust me with baby" it's complicated okay)

And the dragon god has to keep changing his prophecy because Mordred has decided "fuck gods, Imma do the exact opposite that you want me to do" and the dragon god thinks if he kills Luna then she could be the catalyst to sending Mordred to kill Arthur so it's literally just a series of Luna throwing herself into danger to protect Mordred and Mordred running after her yelling STOP, YOU GOTTA LIVE, I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH

and Luna's like BITCH I LOVE YOU TOO BUT I GOTTA KEEP YOU SAFE SO YES IT'S VERY REASONABLE FOR ME TO THROW MYSELF UPON A SWORD FOR YOU

and like yeahh a part of my heart started thinking they'd make a cute couple but the other part of my heart wants to avoid all romance within their story and im suffering
