I was watching Darkwing Duck last night and realized how good Darkwing’s original voice (heard in both “That Sinking Feeling” and “A Duck By Any Other Name”) sounded and I love it

Reasons I was attracted to Darkwing Duck the series/fandom and why I’m still here
Reason 1: I liked the current ducktales so much that I wanted to give the series a shot once I got Disney plus after hearing so much good about the show and enjoying the content the fandom made!
Reason 2: The strong found family themes and LGBTQIA Subtext (this also goes for the awesome fandom as well:)) not to mention the untapped potential for storytelling and character creation with the crazy anything can happen world the show showcases.
Reason 3: It’s Disney.
Reason 4: The character writing, World building, and dialogue is top notch, fight me.
And finally Reason 5:…..It’s basically a magical girl series without the main character having powers/being magic….also they are a male technically Adult Duck Dad crime fighter but…
Case in point
• The main character has an intro speech every episode that they say to the baddies before fighting
• They are very clumsy and emotional, but still always saves the day despite this.
They have cute/stylish costume, that would technically be a little impractical to fight in but only slightly this time (it counts!)
Almost all the villains are hot guys who you like slightly more then the main character and sometimes you ship them with them
……….

Happy 30th anniversary for Darkwing Duck everyone! It’s time to celebrate his first appearance when they were first previewing the show! (Also Happy Ace Pride Day to all you lovelies out there too!)
