Just imagine...

Jake is sitting all alone, in some hideout, on his laptop. He just stopped another attack from his pursuers and leaned back on his chair.

It's been months, MONTHS, since he's talked to us and he's feeling frustrated a bit.

Meanwhile, MC over here is panicking and processing whatever happened in the mine at the end. Of course, it's been difficult for her.

And honestly, Jake was too afraid to contact her because he's scared he'll put us in danger. And so, he has been restraining himself to not contact us for some time.

But eventually, he gives in. But rather than contacting her directly, he just gains access to her microphone, only wanting to hear her voice and calm down a bit.

That was his only intention.

But then, MC, unaware that Jake is listening, she just quietly sings to herself

How do I love? How do I love again? How do I trust? How do I trust again?

And Jake just stills when he hears her sing, not perfectly, but as soon as he hears her voice, his heart could not stop pounding and his breath hitches a bit.

Every night, I'm dancing with your ghost

And he quickly realizes that MC is singing this in remembrance of HIM. Without processing anything, he just leans back and listens to her sing.

Later, whenever he's too stressed or when he wants to hear her voice [which is everyday] but obviously cannot contact her directly, he listens to the recording.

And it always calms him down. Every. Single. Time.

I just found this in my drafts and now I can't get it out of my head. I don't know if someone actually did it before or not, but I vaguely remember that I saw it as an edit on YouTube. The song was basically "Dancing with your ghost" by Sasha Sloane.

(This happens after Episode 10 in Duskwood.)

Yes, absolutely, I can absolutely imagine it. Well, I think it depends on what everyone likes and what they don’t like to decide how Jake is in such situations, but yes, in my mind it fits absolutely.

We have had this theme several times and in my eyes Jake is a switch, but definitely often the dominant part.

He is very strict and disciplined in real life which is why I think it is very likely that he is also in intimate moments. Especially when he finds out that MC likes it too.

Maybe he won’t even be aware at the beginning that he is like that, but through conversations with MC he will find out more and become more open. At least that’s what I imagine.

Jake has been on the run for years and his life consists of having everything under control and controlling everything, if not then he would be in danger. He always has to be attentive and I think you can’t just put that off.

So, as I said, yes, I can absolutely imagine, especially with his formal way of talking. This guy probably doesn’t know he’s one of the only ones who talk like that.

And another part is that he probably wants to make MC as happy as possible. So I think he really appreciates it when MC can just sit back and rely on Jake ;)

i think you've taken the whole phil thing too seriously. phil is a bartender, all bartenders give out free drinks to their customers once in a while. it was probably just worded wrong. i don't think he's a bad man. a bad brother yes but that's about it. plus, when if find out your sister is trying to go against the police and look for a missing person with the help of someone no one fucking knows, you get a bit irritated.

Don’t get me wrong, I am absolutely in favour of sexual freedom without criticizing anyone as long as nobody gets hurt in any way. But Phil sexualizes almost everything and I find that absolutely reprehensible. Maybe he is different in other moments, but what I see here of Phil is enough to say that I absolutely do not like him and don’t want to have anything to do with him.

As I said, everyone can have their own opinion. But what he said to Cleo is enough for me personally, because I don’t want to have anything to do with it. And I don’t care in what situation he said that. And even if it was really out of the affect because he was angry, I can still criticize him for it. What he said about Hannah is absolutely reprehensible and even in a stressful situation I can not understand it.
