Bit of fun facts I got to see, Wake Up Dead Man at my school's film fest! And we got to hear Rian Johnson talk about filming it and I keep thinking of 2 specific things.

1. Glenn Close, he explained how even when she had wrapped filming she still came to set and was watching and learning from her fellow peers and I love that! I love knowing someone as legendary as she is still there to learn ans observe and be in the craft! Never too late to learn new things.

2. That they played with lighting and made a whole light rig to help get the lighting in the church differently. I am a SUCKER for good lighting and when film makers play with it and use it to their advantage....and not leave me in the dark (pun intended and also not as a legally blind person I'M SICK OF DARK ASS MOVIES) (and bear with me if I get some details wrong I saw this back in November and it was finals week I was a little all over the place) but I loved it so much!

I loved this movie it was visually beautiful and I once again just am always willing to see what adventure the audience gets to go on with Benoit Blanc!

🚨 Deltarune Chapter 5 Spoilers! 🚨

When I tell you...I SOBBED at Susie's "home" being the closet / the dark world / castletown. Sobbed is an understatement I cried and choked like a damn toddler (I needed my inhaler cause I was practically choking after crying)

Every adult in the light world failed this poor girl. And it hurts my heart to think about it, I don't know if it's the maternal instinct in me but why has no one offered her a home, shelter, a nice bed to sleep in?! Why has no one seen A LITERAL CHILD AND THOUGHT TO HELP HER?!?! Where are her parents does she have any?! I'm just SO upset about it that I cried insanely cause she literally before Kris and this whole adventure started had NO ONE ...where was she living? How was she getting by? IT STILL HURTS ME AND I AM STILL GONNA CRY ABOUT IT 😭

Anyways, I loved this chapter I had the best time with it and I'm excited to see this story climax go insane and wrap up! I kind of don't really see the insane hate for this chapter...then again I never saw the hate for Chapters 3 and 4. I'm convinced people unfortunately started thinking their headcanons means it will be canon. Also Toby mentioned in the newsletter he's been thinking of this for 10 years so he knows where this is going better than us and I don't have a problem with it! It's like reading a book, we had the beginning with chapter 1 and it was slow as all starting off points go, then we build up and gain new characters, learn about main characters and what makes them tick and motivated, we learn their sorrows and fears, we learn the bad guys and we are still getting more which is exciting!! But that's me everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I do think some people are going a little too harsh....

Don't get me started on people going off because of shipping wars, I'm 26 almost 27 I am getting too old and tired for these shipping wars...and I've seen all of them practically being on this damn site LMAOO no energy as long as the ship isn't harming anyone no reason to get your blood pressure rising because of it!

Ok those are my thoughts hopefully I'll have some art soon! The wheels in my head are turning and I finished my master's degree finally so I have time for personal art hehehe 🤪🥰

When I explain if an animated movie gets turned into an animated TV series, you can not expect it to look the same because budgeting is MUCH lower and sometimes casting have different contracts so some roles might have to be recast. I get looked at like public enemy #1

Like I love the idea of Kpop demon hunters touring and every episode or season being them on tour ....but you cannot expect that HIGH LEVEL of animation budget that was put into their songs, choreography, backgrounds, etc.. it would end up kind of looking rushed and not as fulfilling since you went from an insanely detailed animated movie that spent YEARS being produced and made to about a 30 min episode for a TV series that depends on the company and they need episodes like ...next week if that makes sense.

And this is not to shit on animated TV shows. Literally, some of them are beautifully done and have great pacing and cast! (Owl house, Amphibia, Tangled the series, Avatar, etc..) but also they worked with their small budget and ...we live in a time where animated shows are getting canceled for tax write-offs and immediately swiped from their streaming services (don't get me started on streaming services being ASS) but I think sequels would be better personally.

This is a personal opinion!!! Don't witch hunt me. I'm a graduate student studying visual development and currently making a whole pitch book. I'm tired and do not have time to argue, LMAO
