It was rather hard to put the Hogwarts Castle on the same level as the Palace of Beauxbatons; it lacked a lot of things Beauxbatons has, especially its charms -- and Naveen’s usual entourage that followed him throughout the halls. Well, he still had a small handful of his peers with him as fellow delegates for this year’s Triwizard Tournament. Although all of them had entered their named in the cup, majority of the Academy was rooting for the “Prince” of the school to claim the title of Beauxbatons’ champion. However, Naveen personally wasn’t too enthusiastic about the idea of that happening.
Seeing that the other Beauxbatons 6th and 7th year delegates were excited about being able to visit the British Wizarding school and distracted by the new atmosphere, he took this rare opportunity to escape while the attention wasn’t on him to take a breather and be alone with his thoughts. He left the living quarters Hogwarts had set aside for the visiting students with a notebook in hand and a little tune resonating from his chest.
While he was well aware that being a new (very handsome) face, he was still technically a stranger so eyes definitely followed him down the halls -- which he expected and didn’t really mind all that much. However, he still sought out a quieter place; not a very easy thing to do in a new place that was housing a little more students than normal. Perhaps it was time to seek further help.
He tapped the shoulder of the nearest student and put on his famous princely grin to not come off as intimidating. “Pardon, I hope I was not interrupting, but you would not happen to know of a quiet place to, er, study, I suppose? Not too filled with other students? Obviously, I’m not too familiar with this place and would be very grateful for any help if it is not too out of your way.”
