I'm getting kind of tired of recent Doctor Who episodes portraying UNIT as some sheer force of good and righteousness that only wants to keep the Earth safe

Like... they're still a military installation with their own agenda. Are we just going to gloss over what the Brigadier did to the Silurians or how they literally tortured Tosh and kept her prisoner just because???

So this latest UNIT episode left a really bad taste in my mouth because, while I understand the social commentary regarding Conrad, why are we supposed to pretend this corrupt government organization is some sort of victim?
