Gingerbread Hot Chocolate - Harry/Pansy

Harry wasn’t expecting to see anyone when he arrived home from work. His skin still felt cold, and his head was foggy.  Like it always was when he had to deal with Dementors.

Even though he was an adult now, and technically the head of the Auror Department, those things still managed to give him a fright whenever he had a run-in with them.

So, when he stumbled through the door, a frown permanently transfixed upon his face, the last thing he ever expected to see was Pansy waiting for him with a steaming mug of hot chocolate.

“Rough day?” she asked in a way that hinted to the amount of knowledge she actually had about that day.

But he couldn’t be bothered with how she knew. Harry was just so happy to see her.

And the hot chocolate.

But mostly Pansy.

Are you really writing a hockey AU? I would love to hear more about it. I love hockey.

I got a bunch of fall prompts revolving around hockey for some reason and then bunch of asks about hockey along with that and when I started writing one of them I realized it could be fleshed out into something longer. So I’ll probably post the first little bit of it as a response to the prompt and you can all get a glimpse at the setup. :) I love hockey too.

They did a great job casting the actor who plays Jordan Green. He really looks like a mix of Harper and Monty.

He really, really does! The moment I saw him I knew he was Monty and Harper’s son!

32.“I locked the keys in the car.”- Daisy x Elena

Elena stares at her girlfriend, Daisy who looks anywhere but at her. Something’s up and she’ll get to the bottom of it.

“Stop staring at me like that,” complains Daisy.

Raising an eyebrow at the complaint, Elena doesn’t say a word because she knows eventually Daisy will give in and tell her what happened because she’s known her for a long time now even before they got together.

Elena crosses her arms and taps her fingers against her arm.

“Alright, so I may have locked the keys in the car,” confesses Daisy with a sheepish grin on her face as she rubs the back of her neck.

Sighing, Elena rolls her eyes fondly.

“You are something else, Daisy but I love you anyways. Let’s go find Mack and Robbie. One of them get into the car and get the keys,” states Elena firmly.

Daisy grabs her hand then kisses her cheek.

“Then we can go out to lunch, my treat. You deserve it for putting up with me,” says Daisy softly.

“I’m not ‘putting up with you,’ I’m choosing to be with you,” replies Elena just as softly.

Daisy smiles at her comment.

“Let’s find Mack and Robbie and while we do that, you can think of where we should go for lunch,” she states firmly.

“Sounds good to me. We should do lunch together more often,” replies Elena. They walk off down the street to the garage where they’ll hopefully find Mack and/or Robbie, who can help them out.

After all, what good is a mechanic friend if they can’t help you get into your car?

“There’s really no other rooms?” She can’t help the note of skepticism from her voice. She doesn’t know too much of about the Legends. Not really. They had been enemies before, and she hadn’t really bothered to study their team or their ship.

And now that they were temporary allies it was just...

Surely they have a ship with more than six rooms on it, especially a ship of this size.

Ray’s hands still for a second from where he’s adjusting the sheets on the bed. “Not really.” 

It’s vague. 

Vague enough that she can see right through his words.

“You’re a terrible liar,” Nora says, after a moment, though she makes no move to leave the shared space. 

Ray at least has it in him to look apologetic, when he finally does look up at her. “I worry about you.” 

“You don’t have to.”

“I can’t help it.”

She knows the feeling all too well. What was it about this man that had made her care so much. She couldn’t explain it, not really, not properly. But she had felt in when they were working together to fix the anachronism, and she felt it now, here standing in his room because she really did have nowhere else to go. 

“I’ll take the floor,” Ray insists after a moment. 

Nora just shakes her head, “Nonsense, there’s more than enough room for two. Even when one of us is practically a giant.”
