The knock at the front door took Stephen Strange by surprise. He hadn't been expecting any visitors, and it was very rare for anyone to just stop by.
He made his way down the grand staircase and to the front door, opening it to greet his visitor.
"Becca?" Strange said, eyebrows arched in surprise. "Uh, no! Not at all. Come on in!"
He quickly waved his guest inside, staring after her as she entered. He hadn't seen her since the aftermath of the Battle of Earth. They'd fought together, but only after the battle was long since won and the Avengers began to pick up the pieces were they afforded some time to get acquainted.
"It's been a while, huh?" He asked, chuckling awkwardly, taking her in. He recalled thinking she occupied her own space rather nicely, and now, seeing her again with tight jeans and a leather jacket, he was reminded how attractive he'd found her.
"So, come on...let's talk a little. Care for a drink? Non-alcoholic, of course, if you're riding." He led Becca towards a sitting area. "What has you here, brightening my day?"
She chuckled softly and stepped into the mansion. She glanced around, taking it all in. The grandeur of it all was breath-taking. Buildings weren't made like this anymore. It almost reminded her of the former glory of European buildings-- or at least the ones which had survived World War II. Stepping back in time had her sucking in her breath. Becca had to turn her attention back to Stephen in order not to let her mind wander too far.
"Its been too long. I'm sorry I haven't checked in. It's been a bit of melee trying to get everything under control after the snap back..." She shook her head. Between John Walker and the terrorists and trying to get legislation passed to take care of not just those snapped back, but those who had suffered after, she'd been a bit busy.
Becca leaned against the door way after setting down her helmet on a side table. "I was actually wondering if you'd join me for a cup of coffee at the Cafe up the street, or a pastrami sandwich at the deli?" She grinned at him. "We can walk. I won't make you get on the bike unless you really want to." The thought of him on the back of her bike almost made her snort.
