After a few drinks and countless attempts from his friends, there Daehyun was, atop the small stage of some diner/karaoke bar/god knows what else. The place wasn’t too crowded but not too empty as well. A few groups of friends and couples enjoying their Thursday night. While staring at everyone as they talked within themselves. The beat starts and his head quickly snapped at his friend’s who selected the song giving them the are you fucking serious? look. Nonetheless Daehyun wasn’t the type to back down, plus this was his jam. Bringing the mic up he laughed before getting into the song, grinning like an idiot as people began turning their attention to him.
"I can’t take it, take it, take no more" He laughed during the slight pause in the song before continuing. "Never felt like, felt like this before" This time adding a slight body roll for dramatic affect. "Come on get me, get me on the floor" This time he added a bit of a hip shake as well as another laugh. "DJ what you, what you waiting for?” This time he decided to do just a bit of overly excessive oppa look at me type aegyo.
Daehyun was having too much fun with this.
Her daily schedules having finished it’s latest it has in days she decided to stop by the karaoke bar that was just on her way through the normal route she took to drive home, for a single or two drinks. It had taken her about and hour to reach the bar, she reached the time when the bar’s costumer quantity would increase and deceased in people at a steady rate. The tables not empty but not packed with people like it would normally be at it’s highest.
As soon as she walked through the main entrance straight to the nearest empty booth her eyes captured a sight of. She greeted the bartender with a smile as she accepted the menu. Her eyes fully focused on the different drinks the bar had to offer, feeling in the mood to try something new. The sound of a familiar catchy foreign tune ring past he rears captured her attention, averting her focus away from the menu she turned towards the stage. There on the stage stood a young man not thinking much first she quickly answered the bartender once he offered what she was interested in. Still nod having deciding on one in particular she went with the one he had suggested to her.
A few brief moments later she noticed the younger man’s performance had the small group of people that made the crowd in the bar’s energy and enthusiasm at a high cheerful point. Upon already having her drink in hand she decided to take a few steps closer to see who he was. Her eyes fixed on his happy and humors performance. Her eyes blinking a few times as she realized the young man was a familiar face. At least not on personal level but very familiar in the k-pop industry.
"Oh. Woa—" Her lips parted in cheerful amazement as she spoke before a few soft chuckles escaped her in complete and utter amusement right as soon as the song was brought to an end and the karaoke bar’s noise was a tad bit quieter.
