As much as she loathed her Grandfather, Rey agreed that the Jedi could not be allowed to flourish. The Emperor had had great success swaying the youngling Force Sensitives to their enclave while Rey had been young herself, still learning the mastery of the Dark Side, allowing her to create her Knights and hone their skills as well. Though not strong in the Force, the Knights were lethal, loyal guards for their Princess so when she became of age and her duty as soon-to-be Empress of the Sith was to squash the Skywalker bloodline once and for all, her Knights were at her side.
Yavin VI. The site of the great battle when the Empire decimated the Republic, where the Jedi had desecrated the ancient Sith temple with their pathetic weakness. After she crushed the last Jedi, Rey would destroy what was left of her Grandfather and take the throne for herself, to unite the galaxy under the iron fist of the Sith. Order would be restored for the greater good of all. All needs would be met - for the loyal. Any remaining riff-raff ‘freedom fighters’ would be hunted down and eliminated. Her ship landed in a woody swamp on the jungle moon and her Knights fanned out before her. Rey ignited her double bladed lightsaber and paused.
There was a… fluctuation in the Force… in her mind. That sensation came again, as if she was feeling someone else’s emotions, but this was much stronger than ever before. Those phantom awareness's that had come to her before were amplified and Rey turned away from the direction of the temple while gesturing for her Knights to continue on. They would have no trouble decimating the weak Jedi while she engaged the strong one. That had to be why she sensed him. Rey slipped through the glade like the predator she was, finding the padawan alone. Whomever he was, the raven-haired man was the source of what she sensed. “You are strong in the Force, but following a weak path. You know that, don’t you?” Rey taunted him softly.
