Maybe it’s a softball question, but I’d sure love to read an answer to “are dybbuk boxes actually Jewish?”. I know those things are still being sold on places like Etsy and eBay to this day.

Hey there! I just read your article on the Dybbuk box. Loved the article and was hoping you wouldn't mind a question about it. In the beginning and at the end of the piece it says that the word "Shema" is carved into the box, but once in the middle of the article it says the word "shalom" is carved in it. The box itself was engraved with Shema on the back, however, "Within the box were the following items: ... a small statue engraved with the Hebrew word "shalom"... (1)"

Within the box was a statue engraved with shalom while the actual mini-bar box had the prayer carved into the back of it. See the image below.
