Fundraiser party for young man with malignant brain tumor
December 14th  Jordan Dobson Fundraiser.
 Jordan is a sophomore at Rio Mesa High School.  He has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.  The Camarillo City Council presented a Proclamation at the Wednesday City Council meeting declaring December 14th the Jordan Dobson Day.  The event will include live entertainment and food and starts at 12:00 and ends at 5:00pm.  The event will be held at the Rock City Studios located at 2258 Pickwick Dr. in Camarillo.  For further information visit Jordan’s Facebook page at

One night during the First World War,Fr.Duffy was crawling through the trenches. He came to a dying doughboy. Trying to help,he took the torn,bleeding body into his arms and whispered words of spiritual help and consolation. The boy opened his eyes and looked,somewhat startled,at the priest. "Father",he gasped,"I do not belong to your Church.". The chaplain answered, "I know,my lad,but you belong to my God."
