Back in 2012, 13-year-old Dylan Redwine mysteriously vanished while visiting his father’s house in Colorado, Denver. It wasn’t until several months later that some of Dylan’s remains were found scattered across the mountains, not far from the family home. What was initially a cold case was now turned into a murder investigation. That same year, authorities searched the Redwine home and found blood stains in several areas within the living room. A cadaver dog also picked up a dead body’s scent inside the home. At this point, Mark Redwine, the father, was a prime suspect in his son’s murder, but he constantly denied any accusations that he played a role in his son’s death, and even appeared on Dr. Phil and pointed the finger at his ex-wife instead. Further up the mountain, Dylan’s skull was discovered by a few hikers in 2015. Officials determined the skull had injuries consistent with blunt force trauma from knife wounds in two places. Mark was charged with the murder of his son on July 22, 2017. Although it is unknown why he killed him, Dylan’s older brother, Cory, was able to suggest a possible motive behind the murder, one that is stomach-churning at best. According to Cory he and his deceased younger brother came across lewd photos which featured their father dressed up in women’s clothing and makeup, eating feces out of a diaper. He believes that Dylan tried to confront his father about the photos, and his father killed him in a fit of rage.
