I got my 7D body + lens + memory card for $3000 because the camera shop in town gave me a really good student discount. I got a warrenty and they said they’d send it away for free if it needed servicing.
I thought the lenses have a bigger impact on the types of photos I'm planning to take? I think I'll wait till the Christmas sales for some good deals. I'll have to go to the store in city and will probably be able to get a good package/talk them into selling me a 60D/7D + 15-85mm lens together or something.. That's really good! I'm still at highschool, but my brothers are uni students if I can't get a discount. They can also get a product from Harvey Norman or Noel Lemming decreased so the markup is at 15% :) I guess I'll just have to wait and make sure I don't rush my decision. Thanks for all the help.
