Non-Girlfriend House Wife || Gaige & Dylan (closed)
Dylan should have given her a house key. Seriously though, at this point she'd broken into his house more times than she could count. It was rather easy when she could shift into anything she wanted (including say... a fly) that was small enough to fit through vents and into the house. Then all she had to do was unlock the door from the inside, grab her clothes (and normally the food she'd brought with her) and go about her life.
Today was one of the days she'd brought food. She had talked to Dylan a couple times through the week and he'd told her it'd been a stressful week, lots of hooligans. She briefly wondered if the Belfronts were up to trouble again; but then decided that it wasn't really her problem. Not anymore at least.
Pulling her clothes back on and making sure she still looked rather presentable, she went back to Dylan's kitchen and began cooking. His being a werewolf and her being a shifter meant they ate more than a normal couple would. Couple being the operative word. They weren't a couple - and hadn't been in a long time - but they still acted like it a lot of the time. Minus the making out and the sex, they were pretty much the same as they'd always been. Gaige knew it shouldn't be that way. He had technically cheated on her, for Christ's sake.
But that was Gaige's way. She forgave but didn't forget... She knew she probably wouldn't ever forget that feeling.
The food was all but done and on the table when she heard the door open again. "Hey!" she called out, knowing he'd probably smelled her (and the food) from the driveway. She bounced out of the kitchen, her iphone playing some music from her back pocket. Gaige went right up to him and placed a kiss on his cheek and smiled that ridiculously bright smile of hers up at him, "I figured you could use a good meal after a long week. And I knew you were off tomorrow, so you could sleep off this food coma you're inevitably going to be in."
