Here, have years of Dylend drawings. Plot wise he has always been an ex-human turned into a all so marketable short raccoon. He has always been a magic user. He predated the manatear setting but then was integrated. Before hand I am not sure what I was doing with him, but he is one of my older characters.
He is now a wizard out of time, who was involved in the battle that brought ruin to his home. After doing all that he can to save as many people as he could, the decision was made by the defenders to pull mutually assured destruction on their invaders.
After pulling his share of the lever he placed himself in stasis which puts him 200+ years out of time. He is then released by Nicole by accident and then becomes raccoon. He doesn't have a good time about it.
He has a bit of that survivors guilt going on, it doesn't help that his subjective perspective is that of his home being alive and well before practically smashcutting into war and then post-post-overgrowth but with too much magic. I keep joking that he has angst credits that he is allowed to spend, lucky him.
I do have another sequence from 2019 which is the inception point for snowbeasts, but I should probably put that in it's own post.
2022 - I like where his design has ended up over time. So fluffy it becomes a clothing like sleeves to their silhouette.
