@archaiclumina nailed me with this one. And so here's a bit from one of the entirely self-indulgent romance novellas I've been hurling words at off and on for a few years now.
The house abruptly shifted, rising and falling like a gasp of relief. China rattled in the cabinets--mainly against each other, as Varic'd had the shelves lined with felt very early on--and the maid coming downstairs caught at the railing to keep her balance. She didn't flinch or yelp, accustomed now to the outbursts, noises, and need for closed blinds during the day. Lachlan smiled pleasantly at her as he folded the letter, briefly eyeing the seal. "Hunting hounds, eh?" He tapped the thick parchment against his palm, turning to jog up the stairs as another rumble echoed from the cellars as the house shifted again. Fortunate that Capricia's capabilities also included stabilizing the earth she'd recently shifted. Varic's funds certainly supported their livelihood and he'd steal whatever else they needed, but the last thing they wanted to do was toss frivolous amounts of gold about on new houses. "Hunting hounds don't do well when cornered, and if she wants him cornered and whimpering at her feet, we can certainly oblige." A glance at the heavy, ornate clock on the main wall sent Lachlan jogging up the stairs. Time to start the master bath and get it properly heated before Varic brought her up from the cellars, weary and wanting to be cosseted. Once they'd given her the attention that she so desperately needed--and Lachlan did truly enjoy that part of her tantrums--they'd coax her to sleep and then have a chance to discuss their preparations for the dinner. There would be no talking her out of it, Lachlan knew that. And, in truth, after seeing Reginald's response, he rather wanted to see the sick bastard who'd deliberately divorced a perfect woman--he would admit to no bias--to coddle an unmarried daughter. Something of that struck him as...wrong, in more than one way. If he could goad the man into making a move at him, all the better. They'd exorcize Capricia's demons one way or another.
One of these days, I'll even go finish it. I do, however, have the screenshot I took a while back of the three characters this novella's about. (I should snap a new one, come to think of it.)

Last Song: Anamanaguchi - Prom Night. I can never spell their band name without annunciating it ^^;
Favourite Colour: Black! Surprising no one, probably. If I have to go with something that actually has some hue to it, then it'd definitely be red.
Last Movie/TV Show: Last movie I'd watched was with my partner few days ago - the Gran Turismo movie adaptation. It wasn't bad, though the start of it had that typical amount of cheesiness for a game movie. As for shows, currently going through Cardcaptor Sakura, since I'd only watched the Canadian dub as a kid and saw a thread on twt about it.
Sweet, Savoury, or Spicy: AHH, I'm a fiend for all 3, so it's a tough pick? I'll probably pick savoury, but I do make a note to add hot sauce, or add spices into foods I cook, in some way.
Relationship Status: Taken (and not of the Liam Neeson kind)
Last thing I Googled: "Persona 3 Reload new features" look man, I played P3 FES (still need to complete P3P), and will probably wait til Reload's cheap, BUUUUUUT....
Current Obsession: I just got back from visiting my partner in Portland (we also went to Vancouver+Victoria), so kinda still rolling off that. Otherwise, uhh, I got like, 4 rolls of film to develop from that trip, so kinda excited to get that done and dusted!
