Good Morning! I have something cute for you today. I found this little fox planter in the dollar section at Target and I knew she had to come home with me. It’s one of those unfinished kids craft items. Yesterday I felt like she needed to sparkle so I painted her with some Dylusions Shimmer paint and Posca pens. I planted my variegated string of pearls that I ordered from @gulleygreenhouse in her. WIP: Some of the new Dylusions Shimmer Paints came in today and I just had to play with them! I already had some background sprayed so I added the paints through Dylusions flower and rain stencils to celebrate the first day of Spring. Then I couldn’t stop. I had to pull out collage materials and stamps. Things are glued down and I’m walking away for the night so it can dry. Kids Card - Sparkle Everyday This is my first unicorn card and I'm struggling with it 😂😂. The background is made from product packaging. Everything in this card is made from @rosiesstudio #rosiesstudio Dream in Colour sticker Embellishment Packet and Foil statement sticker pad. I handpainted the background using #dylusionspaint Periwinkle Blue. It wasn't magical or glamorous, so ransacked my stash found glass beads, perfect..Poured white glue on the painted background and sprinkled with various colours of glass beads. Looked like candy cane and it was magical and shiny. Mixedmedia Tag/Card - Explore A few days into new year, time to. EXPLORE. This set of series contains painted, stamped, paper strips and charms and broken jewellery The background contains #dylusionspaint. Since my paints are getting hardened, I decided to pour a number of colours on a A3 drawing paper and use brayer to roll the paint on the paper. Then I cut into B5 sizes. By the way I couldn't get art brayer so I ended getting fondant roller, works. Used the same technique on another piece of paper. I also have another piece with paper napkins. I use paper napkins as base when spraying and once dried, I glue them on paper. Once done stripped some papers and layered them out. All of this are done at different times, just collect and keep them. I edged each side of the paper strips. For some projects I left it as it as I liked the white. I stamped the background and embossed it with #rangerink Clear embossing powder. I stamped using some random patterns from #rosiesstudio clear stampset. The round metal with beads is actually a bangle. I added a metal ship which I got during my local travel. I found that sentiment in #timholtz Clippings sticker. Mixedmedia Tag/Card As we usher the new year, I thought I would make this to remind to put the past behind you. For this I merged my paper layering skills with my mixed media techniques. This set of series contains painted, stamped, paper strips and charms and broken jewellery The background contains #dylusionspaint. Since my paints are getting hardened, I decided to pour a number of colours on a A3 drawing paper and use brayer to roll the paint on the paper. Then I cut into B5 sizes. By the way I couldn't get art brayer so I ended getting fondant roller, works. Used the same technique on another piece of paper. I also have another piece with paper napkins. Added a wing to reflect the year we are leaving behind and the heart to reflect the beautiful moment we had... Suitcase sticker to pack up the past.. Added clear droplets for added texture as I felt there was too much of space. It gave that added edge. Lastly edged the sides. I found that sentiment in #timholtz Clippings sticker. I had the flower filigree in my stash and I adorned it with a purple flower stone. It was part of broken jewellery given to me to be used for my artwork. It fitted perfectly here.
