I still need their backstories before doing anything set in stone, but here’s a bit more of the fantasy!au I thought of.

I don’t plan on keeping it purely text, I’d like to make art for it at some point too.

I have a fantasy!au idea for Blue Lock, but I’m in need of Kaiser’s and Ness’s backstories for it. I did manage to type out a fitting paragraph, a summary or catching point to drag someone in, I suppose. I have to thank trying to dodge the 218 spoilers like spiders, I had no context from what I had seen and it helped fuel this specific paragraph.

I’m very far away from being near ready to do anything, but this quite nicely can fit Kaiser and Ness’s canon relationship.

Below I’ll explain why I think it fits.

Ness is "purpose", he's there to fill the role as whatever Kaiser needs at that moment. As the arc continues on, the more the thorns pierce him--and though I don't want him to break, he's appearing overwhelmed? by the happenings at current. When the thorns draw blood, I feel that will be when he breaks, whether he gets upset at himself, his teammates, his opponents, or even Kaiser.

Kaiser is the "position", he rules over the others as a king, an emperor even. He makes the demands Ness obeys, like royalty calling upon a servant. As the arc continues on, his vines wither around him--he's losing teammates and has a growing, let's say obsession, with Isagi. When they fully wither, I feel like he'll having nothing left around him, including Ness who has broken above.

I’m not sure how Kaiser will react to losing everything, and I can only further go on with it when I can finally see it. I believe we’re closer to Ness possibly breaking than Kaiser losing everything, but who knows since it could happen at the same time. 

Though I’m quite glad that 218 didn’t end up as the scenarios that happened in my impatient brain.
