V1 confusing love for bloodlust because they’ve never been properly held or loved before they think that the intensity of the emotion they feel for Gabriel must be a desire to fight him and to be destroyed by him just to feel his hands on their body and to have him close x Gabriel who no longer confuses passion and love for hatred and shows v1 that love doesn’t have to hurt. think about it. shy and flustered v1 trying to learn to kiss but they get too embarrassed and start shooting their pillow they were bonking their stupid metal head against pretending it was him but gabe kisses them gently and lovingly. and then they collapse and overheat ofc.

modern au/ultralive gabv1el thoughts...v gets bullied. not bullied in the way they sit there and cry while people shove them in a locker. bullied as in they're visibly neurodivergent and queer and people treat them like a wild animal. trying to get a reaction out of them. throwing shit and pretending to talk to them. asking to see their arms. that sort of hostility that's all too common in actual highschools. v isn't afraid to fight if it comes down to it-they could give a fuck what anyone makes of them anyways. and then there's gabriel, this stuck up prissy catholic boy on the student council with a stick up his ass. a stickler for the rules and so perfect it makes him so easy to hate. no one is winning here. at all. they're both fucked up socially but on totally different ends of it.

and now they're kissing under the stairwell. shit happens i guess.

It's ironic that people point out the last name Stein is a Frankenstein reference in Bendy. it is but Henry Clerval in the Frankenstein novel is Victor's best friend who serves as a foil to him, a kind and generous person who takes care of victor while hes horribly ill with shock after realizing the "evil" of his creation. when Victor refuses to provide the monster with companionship, it murders Henry in retaliation. Henry is also known for being imaginative, making up stories reminiscent of a happy childhood. The expansion of the ink demon's character in batdr as someone who sees himself as a monster and confines himself to that fate seems to further this idea, if you know the Frankenstein canon. I think the addition of stein as Henry's last name is a nod to the role Henry played in creating bendy initially (as Clerval wasn't involved in the creation of the monster in Frankenstein).

Victor, about Clerval: "Nothing could equal my delight on seeing Clerval…I grasped his hand, and in a moment forgot my horror and misfortune; I felt suddenly, and for the first time during many months, calm and serene joy." showed my friend protag elevator hitch, specifically this image

and while im making fun of protag's anime girl ass pose with his hand in front of his mouth my fucking friend goes "he probably sucks on coworker's fingers" and that all the eldritch horrors in the elevator only come for him because they know he's a whore. he also said that coworker is "so misogynistic he only fucks men". so basically my friend understands these characters better than any of us could ever dream too.

the wild thing about all the trouble urbanspook is in (deserved) is that no one is saying DONT talk about sa in internet horror just to do it well.

lacey's games was such a real depiction of csa and still respectful towards victims. like it can be done. the fact is that urbanspook doesn't care to do it.
