Dead Body, Dead Mind by Dynamolectric
I sold my soul for less than a pocket full of lint Now I'm searching for dreams and fifty cent Efforts to be loved had me spent And vengeance had me Hell bent Confined in a 6 by 9 for some petty crime Hot tempered, lost my mind My brother's gone, and mom still cries Pop's in denial still thinks it's lies Hold tight your dreams is what I'm told Dreams left when my pride took its toll I own it, can't tell me anything different My conscience spoke, I didn't listen Mind hanging and swinging like a worn hammock Depression takes a new toll, call it manic Ice room sinks my soul like the Titanic Emotions out of control, it's frantic Lock me in a padded room Man up or go back to your mother's womb Swallow these thoughts of gloom Bury your problems weld the tomb Drill two holes in my head use the blood as ink You still couldn't read or comprehend what I think.
Forgive The Changes...
I always harp on and on about change and it has become a common theme in many of my posts here on iNeonBlack. So with that being said, I would formally like to apologize for the constant changing of this blog's appearance. I am forever looking for the "perfect" format to suit my creative needs and in doing so, experimentation is necessary. Good things are DEFINITELY on the way though, the new poetry addition is close to debut time, and my NEW SECRET experiment is near its completion and I can't wait to share it with the rest of you guys! STAY TUNED!
A NEW DIRECTION!
WHAT'S GOING ON PEOPLE? I have been hard at work on my experiments and things are going very well, but during my work, another idea crossed my mind and I had to capitalize on it. As you may know, I love ALL THINGS creative, and I respect many different forms of art. With that being said, I felt like there was a necessity for alteration in regards to the feel for "iNeonBlack". And that new direction is coming in the form of potent poetry. The poem spitter that I am referring to is none other than my very good friend and a creative partner of mine "Dynamolectric". Not only is he an excellent poet, but also an excellent artist, I have had the privilege of seeing some of his pieces of work and for lack of a better word, his stuff is "INCREDIBLE". And to me his poems are serious, because I can connect with them on an unbelievable level. For now, the plan is to drop 1 to 2 poems a month, but depending on the demand, that may increase. SO, I hope you guys are excited as I am because great things are to come. STAY TUNED!
