Ruler of the Storm

Three (?) days of work and I`m very veeryyy satisfied with the outcome! Not to mention the amount of details I put in here ehehe.

It kept reminding me of those religious paintings for some reason. Maybe the lighting?

Kinda made the King androgynous on accident but I feel like that would make sense.

I find it so interesting how the leaves of phalaenopsis orchids can look so different. The one on the right is my mom’s orchid experiment named Ora who I potted into a bark medium and on the left is my newest rescue plant. They were both originally on sale because they lost all their flowers and my mom wanted the cover pot of her orchid to match another plant so we ended up getting another clearance plant. The one on the left is a little sad, I can see the air roots are not thrilled about life and the leaves feel very limp. I’ve gently watered the moss medium in hopes that it will assist in her recovery a bit. Eventually she too will be repotted into bark, but for now she will exist on my desk.  (20/07/2020)

I have a question for you guys --

I have a ton of old Yu-Gi-Oh cards just lying around, ones that I don't think are worth much, so I decided to hop on the Pokemon card trend and paint my cards! I'm trying to figure out how to format the illustrations best, what style I like, and I want to make them more detailed as I go on... So, for the question:

Would anyone be interested in buying these? YGO cards aren't always as pretty as Pokemon cards and I find some of the backgrounds pretty boring on original ones, so I thought it might be a cool way for me to make a little extra money. :)

I'm just starting out so these aren't my super best work yet, but I would love to continue and improve! I would appreciate any and all thoughts.
