Ashe felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and she pulled it out to see a message from Shuyin. She was expecting it to be another reminder that they were going to the concert tomorrow night. Instead it was something else entirely.
Demyx just kissed me. What the hell?
Covering her mouth to keep from laughing out loud, her fingers began to tap the screen texting back.
“Everyone loves you Shu. It’s hard not to. Though the next time he kisses you, he will have an angry Dalmascan woman to answer to.”
She hit send and then realized what she sent. There was no way to retrieve the text message and do it over. It was up to him to interpret what she sent in anyway he saw fit.
When reaching the entrance to his apartment complex, he felt the shaking of a returned message and grasped hold of his phone once more to peel it from the depths of his pocket. Slowly making his way up the stairs, he chortled at the response he had received.
"Jealousy, Ashe? Not very befitting." he returned, beaming and collecting letters with his thumb as it slid across the screen. The smile remained when he reached the top of the stair case, and even lingered as he pressed his palm to the sensory technology locking his home. "No need to worry, though; he doesn't have anything on the heiress of the Dalmascan enterprise," he continued on, as a slice of metal secured itself in the shallow depths of the wall behind him. "After all, it's not as if he can beat the feeling of a princess hopping on my dick. Btw, you're sure you still want to go tonight? Defeater's playing, and their crowds are a lot rougher than most."
Tapping send, he wandered into his room and plopped down on his bed before giving a content sigh and staring up at the ceiling. Ashe going to see Hundredth and Defeater with him, huh? While it wasn't uncommon for a girl to be able to hold her own in such a crowd, Shuyin highly doubted a figure as effeminate as the young woman he was taking out would be able to handle such a harsh atmosphere on her own. Still, he didn't want to cast judgments too early on. She could surprise him; she had before. Even if she couldn't manage, he'd simply wrap his arms around her to shield her from all bumps and bruises that accumulated when at a show. It wasn't as though he'd mind; he'd seen all the bands on the set list more then once, anyway.
