So much good news in this article. I was never adamantly opposed to e-books. I actually had a kindle that I don’t use anymore (e-books are still pretty expensive and I love building my own little library). Like the writer of this article says, e-readers have their purpose. But NEVER underestimate the power of print.
Some cool stats from this article: - So far this year, hardback and paperback book sales grew by 6.2 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively. (E-books dropped 3.9%). - During the first nine months of 2018, hardback and paperback sales generated nearly $4 billion combined. (E-books made only $770.9 million). - The number of independent booksellers increased by 35 percent from 2009 to 2015.
Interested to know, do you read e-books and why or why not?
