Unlike most of your friends, you liked getting up early. Not just waking up early only to go back to sleep, but doing things in the early hours of the morning.
You liked the cool chill of the morning air and the fresh crisp dewy smell of the wet grass. You liked the walk you took to the skatepark when the sky was still a dusky blue and the sun hadn’t even fully awoken yet.
But, most of all, you liked the welcome solitude of the skatepark in the early morning. You had been skeptical of skateboarding as a hobby when you were little. It looked boring and dangerous and even lame to you 12 year old brain.
Your older brother had loved it, though, and in an attempt to spend more time with him, you picked it up too. Turns out, skateboarding wasn’t as lame as you thought. The adrenaline rush you felt as the breeze blew through your hair and you felt like you were going a mile a minute was addicting. The satisfaction of cleanly landing a hard trick was like no other.
What had first been an attempt at finding an activity to do with your brother quickly turned into 15 long years of skating. And now, you still kept it as a side hobby to relax before a long work day.
It was one of those mornings where you felt like nothing could possibly go wrong. It was the perfect temperature— chilly, but comfortable with a hoodie on— and the light rain the day before left the outside world fresh and clean.
You got up at 5 AM and were already on your way to the skatepark at 5:20. You wore jeans and a simple hoodie to keep warm and comfortable, hair tied up so it wouldn’t get in your face. You had been working on a trick called the laser flip for a couple weeks now. It was technically challenging, and it had been nothing but failures so far. But you still worked on it, determined to master it eventually.
Nothing could possibly interrupt the idyllic morning. You were already planning it in your head. You would arrive at the skatepark and skate for an hour and blissful seclusion, then stop by a coffee shop on your way to work. You felt as if you could even handle your boss’s yelling today and not even flinch. You felt amazing.
Well, until the first part of your plan fell apart.
As the skatepark came into your view, it was immediately clear that there was already someone skating there. Really? At 5:30 in the morning!?
You sighed heavily at the sight and debated turning back around to go home. You hated conversing with other skaters or even sharing the space. You didn’t like to have to be cautious of other people using the same space. More often than not, it ended in ruined tricks and frustration.
Not to mention that most of the skaters you had encountered in your town were smoking and high all the time. It was just better if you didn’t mix with that crowd.
But you really wanted to be able to skate this morning, so you trudged along the path, setting your skateboard down when you were almost to the park and skating the rest of the way.
At first, you tried to ignore the other person there. You didn’t pay any attention to him or his rather impressive ollie 540, which he landed cleaner than you had ever seen. Okay, maybe you paid a little attention to him. You shook your head and focused back on your own skating, though. Just because he’s a good skater doesn’t mean that you wanted to converse with him.
You attempted your laser flip again, positioning your feet in the right place and executing a frontside shuvit and a heel-flip to lift yourself up in the air. You almost landed it, really. It was so close to being a perfect land.
But instead, that stupid guy from across the skatepark had made eye contact with you at just that moment, flashing a pretty smile at you, causing you to lose focus and trip over the board on your way down.
The guy halted abruptly when he saw you fall and hurried over. He knelt down to make sure you weren’t hurt anywhere and held out his hand for you to grab to help stand up.
You had always been petty and in the moment you felt like it was entirely his fault that you hadn’t landed the laser flip. You brushed his hand away and stood up on your own, brushing off your hands and jeans.
“That’s a shame. Your technique was pretty solid. You could’ve landed it smoothly.” He said, a small smile playing on his lips.
Up close, you could see every detail of his face. His high cheekbones and pointy chin. His smooth skin and piercing dark eyes. He must’ve caught you taking a glance at him because his lips curved upwards into a sweet smile. You could see how perfectly his smile lines appeared on his face and how his lips didn’t quite meet all the way when spread into the heart-fluttering gesture.
“I would’ve landed it if I hadn’t gotten distracted.” You muttered, feeling your ego bruise at embarrassing yourself in front of him, clearly the better skater of the two of you.
He let out an amusement scoff, and got back on his board, calling out a clear, “Try it again!” as he skated a bit away.
You sighed when you realized that he had stopped once he got to the other end and was now sitting on his board, staring intently at you, waiting for you to make the move.
Your plan had originally been to go home after that embarrassing fall, but now that the handsome guy was waiting for you to try to laser flip again, you felt like you had no choice. You took a breath and got back on your board.
You felt nervous that someone was watching you. You had barely even taken skating lessons in your years of skating, learning mostly with your brother, through trial and error, and with YouTube. It certainly didn’t help that the person watching you was someone you found extremely attractive.
But as you bent your knees, and caught his smile from the corner of your eyes, you felt a surge of confidence. You jumped, feeling the adrenaline rush in the pit of your stomach, your skateboard flipped in the air, and you landed cleanly.
You beamed and your eyes immediately went in search of him. He was smiling too, his pearly teeth out on display and his eyes shining with an unmistakable message. He was proud of you. You skated over to him and sat down next to him.
“I’ve been struggling with that for weeks. I didn’t expect to suddenly get it today.” You said with a laugh.
“I guess I’m a good luck charm, then.” He said smoothly, “I’m Changyun by the way.”
“Y/n.”
“Y/n… Can I treat you to coffee?”
//
“When you tripped, I couldn’t help myself! You almost fell on your face!” You giggled.
Changyun looked offended, “So you would’ve just stood there and laughed at me even if I fell flat on my face?”
“It’s only ‘cause I adore you.” You said quickly, attempting to save yourself from the trap you had put yourself in. You cupped his cheeks with your hands, staring into his eyes until the hurt look in his eyes faded into love.
“Next time you fall off your board, I have the right to laugh, though.” He said quickly. Clearly there was still an ounce of hurt left in him, but you knew how to get rid of it.
“Okay, baby. Sure. Laugh all you want.” You moved one of your hands from his cheek to his shoulder, leaning in until your lips met his soft ones.
Changyun loved to kiss you and he easily melted into it, his lips moving against yours gently. His hands slipped to your waist, pulling you closer to him, and once you broke the kiss to catch your breath, he continued a trail of kissing by your lips and up your cheek until you were giggling from the ticklish feeling and pulling away. You rested your forehead against his, your heart racing in sync with his.
“I think your skateboard ran away from you.” You whispered, eyes glancing behind your boyfriend to where his black skateboard was, indeed, slowly rolling away.
Changyun smiled, on the verge of a laugh, “It always ruins the moment.” He gave one more short kiss to your lips before breaking the close embrace and jogging off to stop his board.
Once again, thank you for the request. I hope you’ll like this part and the rest that follows!
Disclaimer: I know nothing about fashion and I do believe that part of this story is quite unrealistic and things would not work this way so please keep in mind that this is only fiction.
Featuring Stray Kids’ Felix as (y/n)’s best friend. In this story though he is not an idol, he grew up in Australia along with (y/n) but his family lives in Korea. (He ended up being quite a big part of this chapter)
Genre: Fluff with a tiny bit of angst

We Must Love, Who? Masterlist
(y/n) always visits the same café most days of the week because her good friend works there so she usually gets some pretty good discounts and the things they serve are very delicious. (y/n) has known Felix, the guy who works at the café, for quite a few years now. They went to the same school in Australia and were very close so when Felix moved to Korea to live closer to the rest of his family (y/n) followed with him because they are like two peas in a pod. (y/n) has been looking for a job for some time now but she hasn’t found a good one yet, not something she would want to do. Fortunately, Felix earns a lot of money at the café and the two friends live together but that also means that Felix is paying most of the bills right now. (y/n) has promised to pay back what she owes him once she has a good job with a stable income. (y/n) likes fashion a lot, she doesn’t have a degree as a stylist but she has a good eye for fashion. Usually on days off when Felix and (y/n) are going out, (y/n) would be in charge of styling for the two of them. The only income (y/n) can have is when her and Felix’s friends pay her to give them fashion advice. Something she has said she can do for free but they feel like she’s a professional so she deserves the money and they know she’s struggling in finding a job she wants so they try to support her. On this particular day the café was very calm, only about a handful of customers had come in and it was nearing 7 pm meaning it was only another hour until the café would close. The weather had been terrible which meant most people stayed at home instead of going to their favorite café. (y/n) was on her way to the café to keep Felix company for the last hour and a half after being rejected from yet another interview because she didn’t have enough experience to get the job. Walking through the door the first person she sees is her best friend smiling so wide that his eyes turn to slits. “Hey miss fashionista, how did the interview go?” “Well, they said I was talented and I definitely have an eye for fashion” “And?” “But I don’t have enough experience to work in their store but I was welcome to come back once I have experience” “Don’t worry about it, you’ll find the right job soon. You know what people say: Good things are worth waiting for” How Felix could be so happy and positive in almost any situation (y/n) couldn’t understand. It wasn’t hard to comprehend why his nickname in school had been ‘Sunshine’ but whenever she feels down she knows that Felix will brighten her world with his smile and laugh. “So how’s things going here today then?” “Pretty calm, you know how it is when the weather is bad”
Unbeknownst to the two friends a customer sitting waiting for his order had been staring at the girl since she walked through the door. The way she carried herself so proudly, even though she apparently had been rejected from a job, and how she just seemed to shine in her stylish outfit was incredible to the man. Wyatt was glad that he could understand English now more than ever because the cashier and the pretty girl had been speaking in English this entire time and the other customers seemed to look a little confused sometimes when the conversation between the two aussies got a little louder. When (y/n) laughed for the first time since she came inside the café Wyatt was sure that he could feel himself smile, her laugh was just so cute.
“Hey fashionista I’ll be right back. That guy has been waiting for his order for a couple of minutes now and I don’t wanna keep him waiting even longer” “Go on ‘mr.best baker and café owner of this century’, you can’t lose that reputation now can you?” She said with a laugh “Hahah, you’re so funny you know” Felix took the coffee and the pastry that Wyatt had ordered and walked up to Wyatt’s table to give him his order. Wyatt was a little disappointed at the fact that it was Felix who brought him his order instead of you. He knows deep down that you don’t work there so why would you deliver the order but still he had his hope of seeing you closer than from a few meters distance. After Felix had left Wyatt’s order at the table the employee returned to his place behind the counter by the cash register and continued his conversation with (y/n). Wyatt finished his order as slowly as he could so that he could hear the girl’s voice and see her face for a little longer. He was really intrigued by her and she seemed so sweet. He wondered if maybe Felix was her boyfriend, he hoped not. When the clock was 7.50 pm Wyatt left the café promising himself that he would come back soon in hopes of seeing the same girl again.
About a week later Wyatt returned to the café that was packed with people different from last time he was there. As he was standing in line waiting to place his order he tried looking around for (y/n) but with no luck, he couldn’t see the girl he saw last week. But the same young man was standing behind the counter taking and making orders faster than Wyatt has seen anyone do at any other café. After placing his order Wyatt found a place at the familiar table where he sat the week before when he first saw (y/n). Just as Felix walked up to his table to give Wyatt his order the doors opened and there she was, the beautiful girl from the week before. But contrary to that week when she carried herself with confidence she was walking with her head down and when she looked up Wyatt could see the tears in her eyes. Felix walked up to her and enveloped her in a hug and Wyatt must admit he almost felt envious of Felix for a second before he composed himself and remembered that Felix wasn’t a complete stranger to the girl but a rather important friend contrary to what Wyatt would be in this moment to the girl he doesn’t even know the name of. He didn’t pick up much of their conversation this time but he understood that once again the girl had been rejected during a job interview because she lacked experience and Wyatt could this time as well understand that she was trying to get a job in the fashion industry. After leaving the café Wyatt couldn’t stop thinking about the girl and her jobless situation. He thought about whether or not he could help somehow by checking if WM Entertainment needed a new stylist. He knew that ONF’s previous stylist recently quit for some odd reason that was never fully explained to Wyatt or any other members not even Hyojin who is the leader. But it hadn’t been a concern for them before, they knew the company would find someone new. Wyatt thought about checking if they had found someone yet, if not maybe he could figure out a way of having them contact the girl at the café.
The day after Wyatt found an opportunity to ask Hyojin if he knew something about a new stylist for the upcoming comeback they would have. Hyojin had said that he had not heard anything yet but he could ask their manager; although he found it weird that Wyatt was interested in that detail all of a sudden he did not question it. After asking their manager and receiving the answer that no they had yet to find someone Hyojin carried the message on to the rest of the members for their manager had said that they were struggling and maybe the members knew of someone. At least it could be a temporary solution to have one of their friends or something be their stylist so that the company could have some more time in finding someone of the right caliber. Wyatt thought it was the perfect opportunity for the girl at the café, even if it was only temporary at least it would give her some experience.
Two days after his last visit Wyatt returned but this time he hoped he would find some courage to speak with the girl and find a smooth way of telling her about the job. However, even after spending nearly two hours at the café ordering three times he did find the beautiful girl anywhere. The same boy, who had learned was named Felix, was standing behind the counter with his usual friendly smile. Even as the closing hour came closer and closer Wyatt had still yet to see the person he was waiting for. When it was only about 10 minutes left before the café would close Wyatt realized that she wasn’t coming there this day. He contemplated over what to do as he held a paper with the information regarding the job in his hands. He decided that maybe leaving the paper with your friend was the best option he had. “Hey. uh… I- Sorry, I don’t really know what to say. Hehehe, but ah I was wondering if maybe you knew someone who would fit this job? I just thought that you must have some customer or something that maybe works or want to work with fashion” How stupid can someone sound? Wyatt asked himself in his head. God I must sound like the dumbest person in the world right now. Felix was a bit surprised at what the stranger asked him but when he looked a bit closer at the man before him he recognized him and concluded that this man was a regular at his café. Felix looked a bit closer at the words written on the paper: ‘Stylist for famous boy group wanted. Only temporary, no specific experience needed. If interested contact WM Entertainment at xxxxxxxxxx’ Holy sh-t this would be perfect for (y/n), Felix thought. “No, it’s fine man. Uh, could I maybe keep the paper in case I think of someone?” “YEs, uh hehe sorry. Yes, of course you can keep it. Thank you, for the help” Yes, this is perfect Felix must be thinking of giving the information to the girl, Wyatt thought. After that Wyatt left the café hoping that Felix would contact the girl asap and he also hoped that the girl would contact his company and get the job. Even if he was hoping this would be his chance to actually talk to the girl and learn her name he was also hoping it would make the girl happy to get a job and some experience as well. Most of all, Wyatt hoped the girl and him could become friends and keep in contact no matter if she got the job or not.
As soon as Felix had closed up the café he called (y/n) and told her that he had something very important to show her when he came home so she better not be sleeping or doing something else. When the clock hit 9 pm Felix walked into their apartment the paper clutched in his hand so that he wouldn’t lose it or forget about it. He kicked his shoes off and ran into the small living room. “LOOK!!! LOOK LOOK LOOK!!!!” “Calm down Lix. What am I supposed to look at?” “This! This is perfect for you (y/n), you have to call them tomorrow” “Call who? If I’m supposed to read that you must give me the paper you know that, right?” She said to tease her friend for being so excited that he forgot to give her the paper with all the information. “Right, right. Here” The girl took the paper and read it three times before she actually understood what it said. She couldn’t understand how her friend had gotten ahold of this information before her, she had even been looking that very day at all places after a job but she had not seen anything about this. At an entertainment company no less, everyone would be talking about if it was public that they were looking for a stylist. WM Entertainment even has some very popular groups like: Oh My Girl and ONF. “How in the world did you find this?” She couldn’t believe it, she almost thought her friend was pranking her. “This guy that has been coming in a lot lately, usually quite late in the day gave it to me and said that I must know someone that could fit this job because I have a lot customers” “And now that I think about, I didn’t only recognize him because he’s a regular at the café. No, I actually think he’s in a boy group” “Wait, Lix. You mean that one of the members from ONF might be one of your regulars?” “Well, I’m not sure that he’s from that group. I mean he might just be from another company or look similar to someone else but he was very similar” “Hold, up. I am not calling this number and believing this until we have figured out if it actually was one of the ONF members” “Are you like one of their fans or something (y/n)?” “Not exactly, I listen to some of their songs and I know some of their names. Mostly, though I just like their fashion. They’re all good looking guys and some of them have great style” (y/n) took out her phone and searched for a picture of ONF to show Felix and hopefully figure out if it was one of them. If it turns out not to be then she won’t call the number the day after because it’s most likely fake but if an actual member had given Felix this paper then it must be real. “Here, was it one of these guys?” She showed Felix a picture that clearly showed the members faces.
“Hmmm, no- oh, no wait yes. This guy. The one with the black hair besides the guy with the white hair” “Okay, this guy?” She asked and pointed at Wyatt. “Yes, him” “Oh, that’s Wyatt. He’s a rapper and he has a deep low voice just like you Lix” “But, seeing as it was him does that mean you will call the company tomorrow?” “I guess I will” “Good luck (y/n). I know you’ll get the job” “Thanks Lix. Now let’s head to bed cause you need to get up early to open the café and I now have a very important call to make” “Of course! Hey, just don’t forget me your best friend when you become the world’s best stylist. Miss Fashionista” Felix said and laughed “God, sometimes I wonder what goes on in your brain Lixie. How could I forget my best friend mr. Sunshine”
The next morning Felix woke (y/n) up before he went to open the café. (y/n) was nervous and was second guessing on whether or not she should actually call the number. What if it was just some sick joke or something? No, they wouldn’t do that. From what she knows and has heard about the members of ONF they are all really nice so she doubts they would actually do something like this to hurt someone. After an hour of contemplating she decided that she will never find out if she doesn’t try, what if it’s actually real? What if she could get the job? Even if it’s only temporary, it would look great on her CV. She dialed the number and after waiting only for a few seconds someone answered and asked what she wanted. She presented herself and said that she was calling about the stylist job. After she was asked some more questions she was given a time later in the day to come for an actual interview in person. As they hung up she couldn’t believe it. She was actually going to an interview at WM Entertainment to possibly work as a stylist. This was like a dream. Working as a stylist for a famous group is like the best job any person who likes fashion could imagine. (y/n) texted Felix and told him how the call had gone and that she was getting ready to head out and would probably be back late. Felix answered with a short ‘Good luck, you’ll rock the interview’. (y/n) got dressed in a stylish outfit and brought some pictures of her own styling on both herself and her friends hoping that it would show the company that she knows her fashion. She called a cab because she realized she would be late if she used public transport.
After about an hour with the traffic (y/n) reached the WM Entertainment building with only 10 minutes to spare until her interview. She checked three times that she had all the photos, her CV and whatnot with her before letting the cab drive away again. (y/n) walked into the building up to the front desk and told the person behind the counter that she was her for an interview regarding the open position as a stylist. She was told to go to the elevator and go to the fifth floor and wait by the third door on the right where someone would call her name when it was time. She was very nervous and was sweating a bit but still trying to keep calm. She kept trying to tell herself that this interview wasn’t any different from the previous ones she’s been on. After a few minutes someone stepped out of the door that she was waiting by, looking left and right before saying: “Ah, you must be (y/n)” “Oh, Yes. That’s correct” “Perfect, come in here” The man opened the door once again stepping aside slightly to let her walk into the room where she saw a plethora of different clothes, accessories and make up as well as a handful of people. Some that she recognized to be the members of ONF, which meant that if she got the job it was really them she would be working with. After she had taken a few steps into the room the man behind her closed the door after he had walked inside as well. Then he went to the two others in the room, another man and a woman who (y/n) did not recognize, and sat down beside them. “Well, I’ll introduce myself. My name is Kim Dong Sung but you can call me mr.Kim. I’m ONF’s manager. Now why don’t you introduce yourself?” (y/n) was even more nervous now when she did not only have the group’s manager but the group themselves were there as well. “Hello, my name is (y/n) (l/n)” Maybe I should have said something more, (y/n) was thinking. Who only says their name in a situation like this? Common, pull yourself together.
While (y/n) was introducing herself Wyatt couldn’t help but be happy he and the others could attend the interview because finally he had a name to match with the girls beautiful face.
“Welcome (y/n), we’re glad that you wanted to try out for the job. We wanted the group to be here with us today so that you can show us your ability to style them. They will also be judging your talent. Sounds good?” “Yes, mr.Kim. Should I begin with styling the group or should I show some pictures of outfits I’ve styled previously?” “You can begin with styling the boys. It’s more important that you can style them” ”Alright, Hyojin why don’t we start with you then. If that’s okay with everyone?” Hyojin stepped forward and everyone nodded at (y/n)’s question. She looked around at the different clothes and picked out three shirts she thought would fit Hyojin, three pants that would fit him and match the shirts, one pair of shoes and a necklace. Once she had all these clothes together she looked at Hyojin again and then back at the clothes picking out the black pants, a white shirt with black colored letters, a black blazer that was hanging close by and a white belt. After approving of the outfit in her head she handed over everything to Hyojin and told him to change into it. Hyojin took the clothes and went into the little changing room that had been put up in the room. While he was changing (y/n) began looking over the others and the clothes she saw around herself.
(Hyojin’s outfit)
She found a matching shirt and pants along with a black long sleeve and a two part necklace matched with a belt in the same style as the necklace. This outfit would be perfect for Wyatt. (y/n) wanted to find a really nice outfit for Wyatt and she hoped she would be able to thank him for leaving the paper to Felix at the café. After assembling the outfit she brought it over to Wyatt and handed it over just as Hyojin came out in his outfit. “Here. I think this outfit would look amazing on you, Wyatt” “Thank you! I’m sure it will” He smiled at her and took the clothes from him and headed over to the changing room. As Hyojin now stood before everyone, E-Tion was impressed with the girl's eye for fashion as he wasn’t expecting much at first but now he was intrigued seeing as himself has quite the interest in fashion. Now, E-Tion wondered what (y/n) would do for the other outfits. “How does the outfit feel? I hope I got the size correct” “It’s nice. I like it, definitely something I would wear for mv’s, stages and actually something I would wear personally too” Hyojin gave her a kind smile and posed in front of the mirror then looked over to his manager to try and see their reaction to the outfit. He didn’t get much but what he got was that they didn’t dislike her work so far and Hyojin himself thought the girl was nice from what he had picked up in the short sentences she had spoken.
(Wyatt’s outfit)
(y/n) continued her search for the next outfit this time with E-Tion in mind. She didn’t know a lot about him but from what she gathered by a quick search on the internet was that E-Tion is just as interested in fashion as (y/n) herself is. So, he is definitely the one to impress when it comes to the members. “Alright (y/n), show us one more outfit on one of the members and once it is done we will all have a talk and then we will tell you whether or not you got the job” This instantly made (y/n) more nervous. With only one more chance to prove that she can do this it felt like they indirectly said that they have seen enough. That they don’t like her.
Just at the managers comment Wyatt stepped out of the changing room now in the outfit (y/n) had given him. He wondered if she was a FUSE or if she had done research about the members because this outfit really fit him nicely. He likes the colors and the look overall. It was just so, Wyatt, he thought himself. When (y/n) noticed that Wyatt had stepped out she looked over the outfit, she had been right. It did look very nice on him. The color of the shirt and the pants really complimented his hair. (y/n) thought that she had been playing it cool by only matching black and white or black and beige. Something most people can manage to do without having an eye for fashion so she thought that maybe adding something with a little more color would be good. She didn’t find exactly what she wanted in the sea of clothes they had put in the room but she had things to work with. After putting together an outfit she walked up to E-Tion and gave him the pile of clothes. “The last outfit is for you. Hope you’ll like it” (y/n) gave him a nervous smile but she still spoke with confidence, E-Tion thanked her before moving to the changing room. (y/n) waited until she could see the outfit before she would leave the room to let the ‘judges’ talk about if she got the job or not. When he just a few minutes later came out (y/n) immediately saw that something was missing, the outfit wasn’t complete. She walked over the hanger of accessories and found a black and white headband that caught her eye. (y/n) picked up the headband and gave it a nod. She then walked over to E-Tion to put it on him. “Could you please lower your head a little bit so I can add the last piece?” He didn’t give her a verbal response but simply lowered his head so she could put it on. After adjusting it a little (y/n) took a few steps back to examine the entire look and this time she felt contempt with it and thought that she’s done what she can for this interview, now it’s up to them. “There, all three outfits are done. Should I step outside then so you can discuss alone?” “Yes, that would be good. We will come get you once we are done discussing the matter” Before walking out of the door (y/n) looked over to ONF and she saw Wyatt, Hyojin and who she thinks was J-Us giving her kind smiles and a thumbs up. She smiled back at them and walked out of the door.
(E-Tion’s outfit)
As soon as the door closed behind (y/n) mr.Kim and the people beside him were talking while Hyojin gathered the members to get their opinions. “So, what do you guys think? Personally, I liked what she chose for me and for these two. Even the other clothes she picked out first before giving me this outfit looked like it would be my style. So, I’m for her getting the job” Hyojin told the others of his thoughts while asking the others for theirs. “I agree. I liked everything as well. And she seems nice” Wyatt went next followed by MK, J-Us and U agreeing with Hyojin and Wyatt. That means only E-Tion was left to give his opinion, the unofficial official fashionista of the group. “So, E-Tion?” Hyojin said. “I wasn’t expecting much at first. I mean she hasn’t even studied fashion and she’s supposed to be our stylist? But I got to say that she does have an eye for fashion, these three outfits are stylish, very us and as Wyatt said. She seems to be very nice. So yeah, I’m in agreement with you guys” With E-Tion’s approval all 6 members wish for (y/n) to be their stylist, now they are just hoping that their manager and the other judges think the same. As the members finished their thought sharing they turned to look at their manager who also just finished his discussion with the other two. “So, if she gets the job you would be working closely with her and you would obviously be the ones getting styled by her. What do you think?” Mr.Kim asked them looking very serious. “We talked about it and we all agree on the fact that we like her style and would like her to be our stylist” Hyojin, as the leader, spoke for the group and laid out their thoughts. “Hmm, I can’t say that we disagree with you. She doesn’t have the experience we would want her to have but she does have the talent so we don’t see why she can’t gain her experience here. And depending on how it goes from now to after your next comeback we will discuss maybe giving her the job permanently instead of only temporarily” “So, she’ll get the job?” Wyatt questioned with a hopeful tone and look. “Yes. We see more pros than cons in hiring her. Why don’t one of you open the door and ask her to come in again?” U walked towards the door at that to open it and call (y/n) in again.
While outside the room, (y/n) was contemplating every choice she had made in there. They must surely be talking about all the mistakes and how the members didn’t actually like the outfits, Hyojin must have just tried to be nice so it would hurt less. (y/n) was thinking this and much more wondering why she even went here today. As she was pacing back and forth in front of the door it opened after a few minutes with one of the members sticking his head out, (y/n) didn’t recognize him fully she knew he was either U or MK but she forgot how they looked after being consumed by anxiety and doubt. “You can come in again” The man said to her and walked back into the room, (y/n) following him in and closing the door behind her.
“So, how did it feel?” Mr.Kim asked her. “Well, I’m nervous but I think the outfits turned out nicely. I don’t know too much about ONF to be honest but from the little that I do know I put together these outfits to portray the members like I know them fashion wise” She looked at the members, at mr.Kim and the two other judges trying to read their minds but to no use. “Well, we have talked it over and you are very talented however you are lacking experience-” great, I’m not getting the job because of that same stupid detail that everyone rejects me for. (y/n) couldn’t help but look a bit down at that comment. “-but, we can’t see why you can’t gain that experience here. You’re obviously talented and you gotta start somewhere, as an idol groups stylist might not be everyone’s first job but it will be yours.” “I got the job?!?!!?” (y/n) couldn’t believe this, they are hiring her even though she’s lacking experience. “Yes, the members all liked your styling and so did we. So yes, you are hired!” (y/n) began crying of joy at that and was just spewing out ‘thank you’s to everyone. All members of ONF walked up to her and gave her a big group hug. “Welcome to WM Entertainment and welcome to the ONF family” Wyatt said as the seven of them hugged. “Thank you! Thank you so much, all of you!”
After the little hug party ONF left the room and (y/n) was left with only the manager and the other two judges who then signed the contract with her and explained how everything would go. She would begin immediately the next day in order to get to know the members to find their style, then when the comeback is closer she will be living closer to the members by living in a room close to their dorm. Because it would be easier for her to live close by rather than having a long trip when she will be working long hours in order to get everything together. (y/n) once again thanked the manager for giving her the job before she left the building to begin her trip home. She decided not to call Felix yet but to tell him once she arrived home. And Felix was waiting at home with a delicious dinner prepared and some ice cream and brownies for dessert to celebrate if she got the job or console her if she didn't get the job. As soon as she laid down in bed she passed out, exhausted from the anxiety and the happiness. She still couldn’t believe it. She finally got her first job and as an idol group’s stylist at that. She slept peacefully that night already dreaming of all the outfits she would style for ONF’s members.
So I received this request and I got a lot of ideas for it. So I am turning this into my first mini series. It will probably be somewhere around 5 parts to it with three different endings(the three endings are only counted as 1 part but will be separate). So to whoever requested it, I’m sorry that you have to wait for so long but hopefully I will have the first part up by the end of this week. Here is the summary so that everyone can get a gist of what it will be about.
Pairing: Wyatt x reader, E-Tion x reader
Genre: Fluff, angst, love triangle
Summary: When visiting her best friend at his job (y/n) ends up running into an idol without recognizing him but he is intrigued by the girl’s personality.
