Geography
Not my strong suit, but Pip is all about it lately since we moved - - where is everybody, and where do we and other family live and all. “South Carolina” sounds a lot like “Ruff Kerna,” (not to be confused with “Nuff Kerna”), “Tennessee” is “tesee”, “Michigan” is “Mihgn”, but in context I can usually get them. “Boston” is clear as a bell, and whenever a plane flies overhead he says Jesse is up there going to Boston.
Anyway, where we are, where we’ve been and where we are going has been a big topic of conversation lately. So when we were trying to meet up with some old college friends on my campus I told Pip we were going to find our friends. [It actually took awhile, and somehow we ended up texting a game of Marco Polo and - spoiler alert- that definitely doesn’t work.] I told Pip I wasn't sure quite where they all were.
Pip: Call Sheerry and ask.
Me: You mean call Aunt Sherry? Gamma?”
Pip: NO. Ask Shiiiiiiiiiri.
Me: Oh Siri? You want me to ask Siri where my roommates are?
Pip: Yeeeeees [Exasperated. Grownups can be so slow.]
